Sabrina looked right at Matt before saying “What's wrong?” Matt took a few moments to think of his words before answering
“C can't we at least check on our homes on the way to the lake house?” he asked
Sabrina thought for a moment “If it looks safe enough to check them out yeah, I don’t see where the problem would be” she admitted looking to both Bri and Jason for their input. All they did was simply nod. “Then it’s a plan!” she said “We should probably plug our phones in and find a comfortable spot to sleep before all the good areas are taken up” she mused. Sabrina gathered her friends' phones and phone cords plugging everything in for them while they worked on setting up a makeshift sleeping area in the far-right corner just under the window. She was maybe two feet from them. She laughed a bit, watching as Bri and Jason got into a miniature tiff about what they were going to use for pillows and such.
“Backpacks are for pillows” Bri said
“No, that sounds dumb what if someone tries to steal our stuff while we sleep?” Jason asked
Matt was looking nervous watching the ‘popular’ group take up almost the rest of the teachers' lounge.
Sabrina could practically hear Emma’s annoying voice complaining about having to share a room with those she didn’t like as well as not having an actual bed. “Guys I don’t think anyone is going to be trying to steal our things they have other things to worry about like breaking a nail” she said taking a seat by where her bag was near her friends bags.
“Still” Jason said grabbing Sabrina’s bag “Jesus what do you have in here a whole ass house?” he asked
Sabrina tensed and made a grab for her bag “Hey careful with that” she said before lowering her voice “I have some things to defend ourselves with and other things I thought might prove useful” she said watching nervously as Jason quickly went through her bag. “Wow no personal space I see” she teased
Jason smirked “I know you Sabrina you have been waiting for something like this to happen. No, you have been dreaming about it!” he exclaimed “I just wanted to see what our evil genius had up her sleeves and in her bag of tricks” he said.
Sabrina felt heat rush up to her cheeks again “Fine look but keep it down on what's in there and don’t cause suspicion I don’t want to deal with the teachers right now. They were ready to let us all get ate up by the injured” she complained “ I'm betting my breakfast that they won't be answering the phone in the morning or they are all going to be acting like the others that we saw through the window by morning” she said “Anyway we should try to get some sleep, morning is going to come soon and we are going to need all our strength” she said “ I'm assuming what we did today is going to seem like a relaxed walk compared to tomorrow did you see the blood trails from that classroom down the steps?” she asked “ Yeah, I'm positive downstairs is worse!” she said curling up near her friends using her arm as her pillow since Jason was still rummaging through her backpack.
