One night passed and we decided to stay in Louis house for a while. But today, we will try to reach our school campus. As what Hailey and Devon said, the gate was locked and there was no one inside. That would be a temporary safe zone for us.
"You know them?" Louis asked me.
"Yes, they are my classmates."
"That's great! I'm happy for you, Elle!" He smiled and tapped my shoulders.
"Happy of what?" I left one eyebrow and faced him.
"Because they're here," he explained. But I don't find any sense with it.
"I don't care about the two of them," I coldly said.
"But they care for you. Remember, our life is temporary, so you need to treasure everyone while they are still at your side."
I felt guilty about what he said. He got the point, but I still don't care. They're not even my friends
