"We must find him—before the moon wanes again," Grandma Celestina said, her voice trembling with quiet urgency. The council chamber felt smaller than usual, the air heavy with fear and unspoken questions. Candles flickered along the stone walls, their light catching the silver in her hair as shadows danced like restless spirits around us.
