Al's POV
By the time I reached the pack mansion, my body was trembling from something beyond exhaustion.I shifted back, storming through the halls, my vision clouded by the sheer weight of my emotions.
People stared, sensing the murderous aura radiating off me. Shadow and Jayla started to approach but instantly stepped back when they saw the look in my eyes.
I didn’t stop until I reached my room.
The door slammed shut behind me.
Then—I snapped.
I let out a roar so loud it shook the walls.
"Why!?"
I lashed out, sending everything within reach crashing to the floor. Glass shattered, furniture toppled. My breathing was ragged, my throat raw from screaming, but the pain wouldn’t go away.
The door banged from the outside. "Alaric!"
"LEAVE ME ALONE!"
