Chapter 33 Brielle woke to the sound of voices drifting up from the kitchen. Not raised voices. Familiar ones. The kind that came from two people who had spent decades arguing over things that didn't matter and somehow enjoyed every minute of it. She smiled into her pillow before finally climbing out of bed.
