Chapter 6 - The young sorcerer

1045 Words
For a long time, many languages said that the element of darkness was destined to be inclined towards evil, and with Zeijadel's betrayal many believed that it would be eternally evil, with no return. But there was a man who changed all this, recovering the dignity and honor of darkness, he showed that nothing can be condemned for just one mistake, this man, was Enghon Reizeu.     On the continent of Tantus, very early on, their parents went to live in the peaceful village of Esgaion, the perfect place for those who served the kingdom faithfully and wished for their well-deserved rest, but mainly by the birth of their firstborn. Ryunan and Cassandra Reizeu were their names, he was a dominant prodigy of eleven elements, while she, possessing the brown left eye and the blue right eye, was a carrier of atesaki, and with them was their son, Enghon. They were a couple of sorcerers who were studious and dedicated in the elemental domain, so polite and friendly, that it was difficult to see them as soldiers of war, their son, with golden hair as well as his parents, grew up healthy and studious, since the age of four winters he already showed elemental talent, and it was clear that he would become a great sorcerer, but if there was one thing he loved more than his studies, it was his parents. Born in the eclipse of the Moon and bearing the mystical mark of the summoners, at ten winters Enghon was already closely watched by men of the kingdom, both from Earth and from Krantenion, which made Ryunan very proud, and although Cassandra was still afraid at first, she also ended up approving her son's entry into the military, in the future.     Enghon developed several elements for his young age, and among them was the holy element, much appreciated by his parents and which in the future became his favorite. But one day a black cloud covered the peaceful village, and brought death with it. Esgaion has always been a place with little, if any, military power, it was just a simple farming village, perhaps the most peaceful place in the world, and it was also totally off the beaten path of armies in the war, this left it intact until then. In the same winter that Kraven Licaon betrayed Meira, just before taking Pandemonius, he passed through the village and made an absurd m******e, Enghon, who was studying in the nearby mountains that day, could still see the goblins and the burning houses, although he was just going to become another victim, he returned to the city quickly, but luckily Kraven and his army were already gone, the boy found his parents dead, and the pain in his heart was terrible... A few winters later the few survivors returned, but the place was never the same, Enghon went to live in the great city of Brambal with his mother's brothers, where he was now a cold and lonely boy, despite the efforts of his relatives. Upon completing twelve winters of age he met the famous sailor, Arkan Marne, and the little older John Viktor, who convinced him to join them to become the summoner who would bring defeat to Zeijadel, and as the lord of darkness as well meant Kraven, he accepted. Several times the three faced battles with goblins and other enemy servants, on the roads and villages, even their ship was intercepted once, the combat was violent and they were almost sunk, but they won, but Arkan somehow always seemed to know what was coming on their travels... One thing that most likely saved Enghon's sanity was a love he had as a teenager, at fourteen winters. Arkan, until then, used to travel very often to Tantus, and in the same city of Brambal, Enghon met a young woman named Sonja Crastine, daughter of a traditional noble family in the city, with black skin, long curly hair and green eyes, beautiful among maidens, she truly loved the young sorcerer, even though she was not quite sure about his feelings, they got involved for about two winters, her warmth managed to warm a cold heart, until Enghon left definitively on his journey, and they never met again. On a trip to Lieben he met the great master Tantaluz, for whom he created deep respect and admiration, allied with the excellent and powerful “Bö” techniques that Arkan taught him, the young man learned a lot in a short time from the greatest sorcerer of all, but despite this he did not consider himself his pupil, precisely because of the short learning time. Tantaluz saw once again the potential to be great, but he also felt hatred and revenge in his heart, which could lead him into darkness, the great master feared that he would follow a path similar to Kraven in the future. At the beginning of the journey, in the Sacred Forest, the loss of the summon of the air weighed terribly on his mind, even though he was constantly encouraged by his friends, the idea of failing in his revenge was unbearable, but perhaps he considered that he owed it to others more than to himself, a clear sign of his good nature, which kept the hope of redemption alive after having cultivated such dark thoughts for so long, Iris' news about the fifteen summons, and how she recovered Galzon, it seemed an invaluable reward, although no one noticed it, as he was able to hide this very well. Enghon expressed more his hatred, but perhaps because of the friendships he cultivated, or because of his own character, he managed, in “That Great Battle”, to set aside his longed-for revenge, handing it over to his friend, Seth Alberich, besides having refused to be the summoner, showing a lot of dignity, and his power and talent were also justified by performing two of the three spells in the book of Tantaluz, which were considered the definitive spells of the holy element. After Kraven's death he was finally free from pain, and he proudly assumed the post of new lord of darkness. From then on, Enghon Reizeu brought back the honor that darkness should have, becoming one of the greatest lords of all time.
