I woke up on the couch in their sitting room. I don't remember coming back here, but we must have walked back. "You're awake. I'm sorry I didn't mean to reveal so much that it over whelmed you. I am just so happy to see that you survived. I didn't want anything to happen to either of you. Your mom was my best friend and that man, if he can be considered that, took her from us. She was 15 when he took her as his bride. You were born not long after her 16th birthday." Maria said in a rush. I wish she was still here too, but I know that she is still alive in the hearts of everyone that knew her, the real her. "Why did you call her the princess?" I asked still confused from before. "I mean if she were royalty wouldn't we have had a better life?" "She was the princess of our people. To keep the peace with the wolves she was promised to the prince of their people, soulmate or not. And they were supposed to be wed after her 18th birthday, but that damned dog couldn't wait just because he thought she was beautiful in her human form. Her father wanted to wait, but his father had more behind him and we didn't want to start an all out war." She explained with shadowed eyes. "Needless to say we couldn't stop him. She tried to keep in touch, but I guess when Emanuel took you both in she felt she was safe from the wolf prince." "I was a baby when he took us in so I thought he was my father." I said my voice thick with sorrow. "Wait if my real father is a wolf shouldn't there be a chance that I had a wolf too?" When she thought about it for a while I thought that it might not be possible. "You know I don't know maybe my dad would be able to tell us. Do you want me to go ask him?" She finally said. When I nodded she got up and walked out of the room. I got off the couch and started to look around the room. There was an immaculate fireplace with pictures all framed on top. Every picture looked like it was of the each kid having the time of their lives. There was even one girl that I couldn't place. I haven't seen her since I have been here. Maybe she was just a family friend. "That's one of the triplets and she doesn't want to have anything to do with us. I don't really know her myself." Luka said making me jump out of my skin. "I didn't mean to scare you I'm sorry." "It's okay I just didn't expect anyone to walk in. What's up kiddo?" I said trying to slow my heart back to a normal rate. He sat on the chair and clutched a throw pillow to his chest. "I just wanted to know if we could be family. I like the idea of another nice sister. And I like having you here to talk to. Momma says that if you decide to leave us we can't stop you but I don't want you to go. We can even help you fight if you want. I'm not scared of much but I'm scared of losing you." He said starting to tear up. I walked over to him and placed my hand on his head trying to calm him. "If I do go anywhere I would be looking for my family and right now I believe that your family can help me with that. I do like the idea of having people to fight by my side but I don't think I'm ready to deal with any adult males yet." I said making us both feel better. Just after I said that I heard someone bump into something right outside the door. I got up to investigate the noise but Luka jumped in front of me to see what it was first. I think he was trying to protect me from whatever it was. When we made it to the door way and peeked around the corner we saw Lucious on the floor holding an expensive looking vase just inches from the floor. I shied back around the corner while Luka went to get Izzy. Next thing I knew Lucious was being dragged into the room by his ear. "Now you apologize for spying on this poor girl. She has every right to privacy. She doesn't need to be afraid of little boys like you spying on her in this house." "Ow mom that hurts, I'm sorry I'm sorry. I didn't mean to spy I was coming down here to get out of my room for a bit. Now will you please let go mom you're hurting me." Lucious said. Izzy gave one last tug and let him go. "I really am sorry I didn't know that you were in here." "It's okay. I'll go somewhere else." I said in a low voice trying not to look at him. "No you don't have to go you were here first. I'll go sit outside for a bit." He said nervously. "I don't believe I have told you yet, but I am happy that you're here Zera. I would like a chance to talk to you some more. If you feel up to it that is." I would love to be able to talk to you some more, but I don't think I can. I kept that thought to myself. "As nice as that sounds I just can't yet." I said as I fled from the room bumping into Angelica. We both ended up on the floor. "Ouch my head. what did I hit?" I heard her say. "I'm so sorry I didn't mean to I was just trying to get somewhere else. Are you okay?" I said trying to assess the situation. "I'm fine it just hurt a little bit. Are you okay? I don't want you to be hurt again." She got on her knees and helped me to mine. We started to laugh a little. "i'm okay I think I just hurt my butt a little." I said with a smile We both got up and walked to the kitchen. She fixed us both a sandwich then we sat and talked a little bit. It was mostly idol chatter. When we finished eating she decided to get her phone out and snap a few pictures. I definitely wasn't ready for that every picture she took of me was awful, but she thought it was fun. She put the phone down to mess her hair up and then Maria walked in with their father. "I have never heard of a person having two animal spirits, but I can't say that it's impossible. Oh sorry we didn't mean to intrude." Micheal said. "We were going to make a snack. I didn't know that you were in here." Maria said. I wanted to say something, but I was too scared to even try and open my mouth. Thankfully Angelica answered for the both of us. "We just ate. You're more than welcome to raid the fridge if you want." Then she looked at me and said, "You wanna go shopping?" "I'm not sure if it's safe." I said following her out of the kitchen. We went to the room and changed before looking for Izzy. When we finally found her Angelica asked if we were good to go shopping two towns over. When she gave the okay we went to the car, but we weren't alone. There was a man that I had never seen before sitting in the driver's seat. "That's our oldest brother David. Mom doesn't want us to go unprotected. So David has to tag along with us." She said. I got into the back seat while she got in the front. I definitely don't want to be up there with some male.
