Chapter Twelve

 She wasn't joking, I'm now standing in her room showing her how to turn on the bullet and insert it into the dildo. She handed me the bottle of lube and I put a drop onto the tip. Zera's Pov

I felt like I was the most precious person on earth with how gentle he was with my body. The only problem is that he has to leave. Maybe we will be able to be closer now. I know that I feel this pull to him, but I don't know if I will be completely comfortable with him when we aren't having s*x. I knew that I liked him a lot when we first met and I still have those feelings now. The question is will I be able to be around him when my clothes are on.

He went back to his room to get dressed and change his bandage. I didn't want him to go but I knew we both needed to eat and be around his family otherwise they might get suspicious. I put on one of the sports bras and a pair of sweat pants but I couldn't find a shirt so I had to go through the drawers in the dresser. I finally found one that matched the color of the pants.

When I made it down to the dining room it was empty. I decided to look in the family room and I found everyone sitting in there talking to a couple that I didn't recognize. Everyone stopped talking when I walked into the room. They all looked at me and the couple stood and rushed me. I tried to back away but ran into something solid. It wrapped me in strong arms and growled at them.

The couple stopped in their tracks. Izzy and Micheal stood up and started walking towards us slowly. "Lucious you know them and they were just excited to finally meet their long lost granddaughter. Don't do anything you will regret." Izzy said in a calming almost hypnotic voice.

"They can't take her she is my soulmate and I don't plan on letting her go." Lucious said with a snarl. "Her own father can't take her away from me not matter how good he really is."

"My father isn't a good man he abandoned my mom and I just because I was a boy." I said quietly trying not to cry. "He didn't care enough to keep us safe when I was a baby why would he try to make amends now?" I asked as the tears began to roll.

That's when David stood up, he didn't look very happy that I was talking about my father. "That wasn't his choice. Max threw you and your mother out and threatened her not Braiden. In fact I have been looking for you both for him these past 18 years. He wanted to protect you, but Max wouldn't allow a girl to be the heir to the wolf throne. Now before anybody does anything stupid lets all just sit down and talk. Okay?" He said sounding like he was head of the streak.

Everybody sat back down except for David. He kept checking his phone and pacing. When i tried to get up he stared me down until I sat back down. Izzy started talking first, " Zera Honey this is your grandmother, Angelena, and your grandfather Marcov. They came to visit, not to take you. And this is your granddaughter Zera. Now Lena do you want to say something to her?"

"I'm so sorry for scaring you earlier. I just wanted to hug you, and you look so much like my Oddette I couldn't stop myself. We knew that she had a little girl, but we didn't get the entire story as to what happened to you both, Max just said that there was a terrible accident and mother and child died together. We tried to get more information, but we found nothing." She said starting to cry.

"We were on the streets until Emanuel found us and took us in. Then he killed her when I was five. I believed him when he said she just left us. I also believed he was my dad. When I made him mad he would lock me in the basement with her corpse and laugh. He hardly ever let me eat and I always had to cook for him. On my 18th birthday he raped me and beat me. I ran away after he went to bed and found myself here. I tried to kill myself two days later and then something happened but I don't know what exactly. Then I learned that I'm a shifter and I have a beautiful white tiger in me. And after all that I learned about my mother being given up to a pack of wolves when she was just 15 by her parents. Now do you really think that I want to be touched by somebody that started this horrid tragedy that I call my life?" I know that I shouldn't have been so rude but I didn't care right now.

David walked out of the room and everybody just stared at me until he came back with another man behind him. "This is Braiden Prince of the wolves, also known as your father. Now if I catch any of you getting up to attack this man I will personally remove Zera from this house. He has some information to share with everyone here." He said giving Braiden the floor.

"Thank you my friend. Now my father king of the wolves has already heard of Zera being found and he doesn't want her to come into power but I wanted to inform everyone that she is the young princess of both races and as such she can shift into either wolf or cat, and both will respond. But she has to be willing to connect with them both. This has only happened two other times and unfortunately the two others never mastered the connection well enough to transition from one to the other. Which means that there was a point between shifts that they were vulnerable to attack. You boy holding on to my daughter, do you think you can protect her long enough for her to change from cat to wolf?" He asked Lucious.

Lucious just nodded before he could talk David started in, "Look brother, she has a mate out there somewhere so stop holding onto her. You can't be her soulmate because she isn't just Tiger she is also wolf which means that she has a mate elsewhere." He said looking more stern than ever. "She is a wolf princess at that, little brother, that means that wolf is strong in her. I know that you think she is your soulmate but she can't be."

Micheal spoke up before I could. "She is also Tiger princess, so her cat should be equally as strong. And she should get to choose if she even wants a wolf mate or not. She was rejected by the king after all making her what? A rogue?" He said looking at Braiden.

"Yes she would be a rogue until I take the throne, but I'm also not my father. In other words I wouldn't force her to be with a wolf or a tiger I would allow her to choose for herself." Braiden said. "Now my father does know that she is with the Tiger race and he is looking to have her brought in. All I am asking of you is that you take her somewhere safe that he can't find. And no matter what you do don't leave her scent behind. I don't want anything more to happen to my daughter."

When Braiden finished David asked Lucious and I to follow them both outside.
