Chapter 24 At Culver’s Cottage, Logan slumped back against the kitchen chair, nausea making him grip his stomach. He dialled a number with shaking fingers. “She’s fine,” he said to the person on the other end. “She’s on her way home. I’ve no idea where she’s been. I’ll call you tomorrow.” Logan disconnected and called Sheila and Angus separately. Then he paced as he’d done for the last four hours.
