Chapter 29 Hana emerged into the sunshine with exhaustion dragging her heels to painful slowness. Dark shadows ringed her green eyes and the flattened curls on one side of her head gave her a lopsided appearance. She paused at the nearest taxi and her voice croaked from lack of use. The driver jumped out and put his hand over the suitcase handle. “Last leg of a long international flight?” he asked with a smile.
