I don’t trust Mila and please don’t think I want her here but I need that pen drive and unfortunately she’s my only option.
“Hurry up.” I said to Mila as I’m trying to show her around and to her room fast because I have a bunch of s**t to do and this girl is playing with my patience and I swear if I could shoot her I would.
“I’m tired and have you seen the size of this place oh and it doesn’t help that you have f*****g long legs and my are short.” She whined and I turned to her.
For the first time I actually looked at her she is frankly really short with red burning hair big green with freckles, as much as it hurts to admit it she’s not bad not my normal girl thought.
“Did I ask.” I said blankly and continued walking.
I turned around to see what she’s doing since I stopped hearing her footsteps when I turned I found her sitting on the ground stubbornly at least three feet behind me making me take in a couple of breathes to calm myself down.
“She’s gonna drive me mad.” I mumbled to myself.
“Get up we’re not done yet.” I said and continued walking.
From the corner of my eye I saw her moodily getting up and running to catch up with me.
“Where is my brother?” She asked.
“Can you hear well?” I asked her.
“Yeah why?” She answered.
“Because I’m 100% sure that I’d told you he’s up in a room for himself.” I said bored out of my mind.
“Yeah I know that but is he ok and is my room close to his?” She asked in a bit of a panic.
“He’s more than fine and yes your room is in the same place as his.” I answered not sure why I allowed this girl to keep on talking.
“How does that work?” She asked.
“Similar to my sisters gang there is a section for men and one for women their rooms are just one double bed a bathroom and a small living space but with families your rooms will have enough rooms for you a bigger bathroom and a bigger living space.” I answered feeling like a broken record.
“What about a kitchen.” She again asks another question which was driving me mad.
“In every living space people have a small fridge but everyone eats at the canteen but the food is not like your school canteen food don’t worry.” I don’t know why I keep on answering her questions.
“And wh-“
“That’s enough.” I said cutting her off whatever she was about to say.
She looked down and didn’t say anything else which made my heart hurt a little for some unusual reason but I ignored it and kept on moving her trailing behind me quietly.

“And finally that’s the end of the tour.” I said sarcastically and then left her and went into my office which was on a different flour.
I have to say that girl Mila is a god damn pain in the ass, she is gonna drive me f*****g mad before i get my pen driver, I just have to remind myself not to kill her and I’ll be good.
Now I have to go through all the payments and shipments of the last month and also have to check up on the training of the members of course they know better than to start slacking but I like to always check up and I like that they know I do.

Mila’s POV
We went round the warehouse and he showed me everything I was asking him question after question and he was answering but when he screamed at me I stopped taken a back.
When he dropped me in front of what he said was my and Jacob’s room I went straight in and even thought I was sure he was perfectly fine I needed to make sure because I’ve always protected him.
I’ve had to protect him anyway there was no one else to do it after mum left us for her younger boyfriend dad started drinking and started taking his frustration out on us day and day again, I could take it, I have for years but Jacob can’t, I tried to run away once but dad found me and Jacob again and forced us back home he beat me until I couldn’t move and there was so much blood you’d think I’d been dead.
Thats one of the reasons I want to stay in the gang after finding the pen drive, if your here your protected and that’s all I want, it hadn’t been my plan, my actual plan was sell the pen drive get the money and use it to change mine and Jacobs names and move as far as possible and get Jacob into a good school but you know the saying ‘if life gives you lemons make lemonade.’
