Chapter 20: You Belong
Angelica's POV
I walked downstairs, clinging onto the railing in fear of falling down them again, holding my head up as high as I could. I don't know how Beck was going to take my little rebellious actions, but I couldn't bring myself to care right now. I am not some toy he can play with whenever he feels like, but I will do whatever I have to do to protect my brother. He just doesn't realize I can't play the good little soldier forever.
The moment I had walked into the living room, all eyes landed on me and watched my every move.
"What?" I asked.
"What happened to your hair?" Chase asked, shocked.
"Yeah, Beck is going to kill you when he sees that." Tony said. I reached up and started playing with the edges of my bangs.
