 Zayn Pov

Leo is a pain in my a*s and I mean that in all kinds of way you can imagen that line. After the meeting with humans at one of my businesses which I own a couple of them because even though we wolves, we still need to make a living and that is the primary way I finance my pack and some just work there to keep an eye on the humans who might steal from me. So after the meeting we passed by a human bar and went inside because Leo begged me to. He said we need to find a way to relax outside of the pack and we must stop living like we not humans at least 50% of the time. I only agreed because he was the driver plus and I had a lot on my mind.

We got at the bar and may I tell you it smelled cheap and sweaty meat, It was shabby looking and it was by a trashy ally and that's when Leo said "I know it looks weird and dirty but I promise you it serves great beer and drinks"

I shot him a surprised glance and said "so this is not your first time here?" and he gulped nervously and said "well I do come out a lot you know and i do have human friends"

"And you and your human friends spend your time here?" I was slightly annoyed but this was still surprising.

"Yeah" he whispered, I think it due to shame because he spends his days out here then he shook his head lightly as a person trying to get away from their thoughts and says "look its not about what's on the outside you should check what's on the inside" and with that he pulled me inside and we sat at the bar waiting for about 10 seconds then a really blonde and really slim woman came to assist us and may I say she had this bright white teeth smile going on her face and as soon as she reached us I could tell it was directed to Leo, huh interesting.

 After Leo told her what we wanted because he took it upon himself to order for me he turned and found me smirking "what?" he acted surprised and I raised my left eyebrow as my smirk intensified into a more devilish thought and he continued to stare at  me and said "You know I know you an Alpha but you look more like a psychopath when you make that face" I continued staring and he was getting annoyed that he yelled a bit lowly "What!"

I giggled a bit then started massaging the counter a little bit then rested my elbow on the bar and  said "I wonder if Vanessa knows about the strawberry lipped blonde" in a split moment after me saying that he looked at me like I had grown two heads and then I burst into fits of laughter, hell if you could see the horror in his eyes at the mention of his mate's name that reaction was priceless.

"Zayn why would you imply that?" He was still in horror hence he called me by my name and because we both know that his wife is a red head who hates blondes "What you think I'm implying?" I asked acting innocently "You know she is going to think she is seducing me" he yelled again "and just maybe she is right considering the flirting I have witnessed" I gave him the think about it look in a sarcastic manner.

He sighed and looked down as he asked "what do you want?" I smiled devilishly then put on a straight face again "We must be out of here after you drink the two beers you ordered" and he nodded his head profusely then he started yapping again about how he doesn't understand why I wouldn't wanna hang out here again and really I was listening to him although pretending otherwise until a door burst opened and Amoux gave the best Howl he has ever given me in two years inside my head, then it hit me the best Lavender smell in the whole wide world, it was strong but it had its softness to it. It pulled me in so quickly that I wasn't even listening to Amoux chanting mate mate mate inside my head, the awful sounds of humans talking and the low music in the background didn't ring in my ears anymore, everything else that wasn't the source of that enchanting smell became opaque and my wolf sight and hearing totally zoomed on her.

She was so tiny about five four but she was curvaceous and the way she moved kinda seemed sexy although she was busy and hurrying to a specific table, and when she got there Amoux growled like hell that it had my chest vibrating, he had come to a halt  on his chanting when he realised that some a*sholes were manhandling our tiny vanilla skinned goddess. Out of nowhere it was like I could feel her emotions and she was livid and she actually broke one of the i***t's nose, now that got me rooted at the spot seeing her turn into a warrior princess as quickly as possible. I ran at a speed of lightning when one i***t broke a glass on her head and the other punched her, I knocked them out with one punch and the one that broke a glass on her head I banged his head on the table and as soon as I turned to check out any injuries on her, I was met by the most beautiful icy blue eyes ever.

Amoux had never reacted this way before, as I looked at her eyes so did Amoux and usually at this time he would say Zayn meet our lovely future and then I get rejected but this time he just stood mesmerized like I was and in that moment my heart stayed still and calm so did my brain everything went blank. I wish time could not be cruel and take such a beautiful moment from me and thats when Amoux came to and he howled again inside my head. Right when he howled I realised her icy blue eyes were no longer starring at mine and then I noticed it, the blood on her forehead, Amoux began to be alert again and ready to tear down that i***t again but she held out her hand for me to touch. I was still angry but how could I be worthy to touch the vanilla skinned goddess's hand with hands that have just punched three guys, so I opted for her bleeding forehead and she flinched and that right there broke my heart and made me more angry.

Although I suppressed a growl I wanted to wake him up and tear him apart then she spoke, ohh My God what music was that because it has not yet been discovered before but the sound of her voice has the music that the earth and heavens are yet to discover. I didn't catch what she said because her just speaking distracted me enough and my anger just dissipated right there, but the blood that I had just wiped off her forehead and the one that's trickling down had me angry again but she assured me she was fine and before Amoux and I could claim her and call her ours at the spot Dumb Leo decided to show up and ask the most stupid question ever "Boss were you in a fight again?"

My goddess quickly turned and faced Leo and she stared at him for what seemed like eternity and I was so livid I wanted to shred Leo for the stupid question and for the fact that my Goddess is checking him out and I was ready to land a punch when she screamed "Please don't!". Wait what was that? How did she know I was going to punch someone but before I could find out a middle aged man-wait is that a wolf smell I get from him, but yeah he showed up and barked orders at my lifeline and even had the audacity to shove her into that tiny office. Didn't he know that she was delicate like a flower, or that he was in the presence of greatness and who the hell is he?

After she left Amoux was ready to pounce on this middle aged dude but he bowed his head and said "I welcome you Alpha Zayn Black along with you Beta..." he trailed off he didn't know Leo's name and I was a bit fazed with what's happening then Leo filled in the gap for him "Beta Leo, My name is Leo". The man bowed again and said "I know you want answers of how I know you but I can't at the moment so would you please come back tomorrow at you own convenience and I will answer everything"

I nodded then asked "what is her name?" he looked fazed for a bit then he casually uttered her name but to me as soon as he said it I felt and smelt her again. "Aria" I repeated after him and Amoux Howled for the third time today then we left. I wanted to see her before we left so I can make sure she was alright  and kiss her wound  Amoux took the liberty of speaking right there but I will be back tomorrow and I will see her again and Amoux started yapping about how we should buy her flowers and chocolates so that we don't come empty handed. I haven't had the pleasure of hearing him yap like this in two years and even back then I could shut him up but every time I closed the barrier between us he came back five minutes later and said stuff like  you can't shut me out Zayn and you know it!.  So I let him yap until we got home with the promised that I will see him again tomorrow.
