Derek's POV
I am sitting here with my wife and the best thing that ever happened to me was Macy waiting for Zander's mystery girl to arrive. I have known Zander for a long time, and I have never seen him so stressed about a female. He has always been private and about business only. His father never let him be anything but the best. He graduated at the top of his class early and trained daily to be physically and emotionally fit. Mr. Meyers is a difficult man to be around. He just exuded power and passed that aura down to Zander. Zach, on the other hand, is a brat and always into some s**t. He is in the hospital right now because of something he has done. With the k********g of the girl and Zack being attacked, we are all wound up and out for blood. I hope whoever did this to Zach knows they have signed their death wish. I have never been one to show mercy. Willow and Damien raised me after all. Macy comes to sit beside me and holds my hand. "Derek, I am worried about Zander. He is pale, and he hasn't stopped pacing since Brad called. I don't know this girl, but she must be something spectacular to affect him like this with the minimal contact that they have had." You are right baby. I feel the same way. Plus, he is still upset that somebody hurt Zach. But don't worry, none of those bastards will live to
tell their side of the story. We will get our revenge on them soon." Macy nodded and rested her head on my shoulder. We have barely slept since we got here. I let her rest a little while we wait for Brad to arrive with the girl.
Allie's POV
We drove for what felt forever until we pulled up to a huge iron gate. I knew this man was rich, but damn. Brad put in a security code and drove through the gate. I looked around in awe. The scenery is so beautiful. Huge bushes and flowers lined the driveway. When we pulled up, the house was so big it looked like a castle. For a poor little orphan forced to live away from everyone and everything after the incident, this feels unreal. I asked Brad a ton of questions all at once. "How many people live here? How many rooms does this mansion have here? How many employees are in the house? "" Woah take a breath, Geesh. There are a whole lot of questions. You will have to ask my boss all of those questions and no, I do not live here." "Sorry I have just never seen anything like this before. "He nodded and then I opened the door to the car and nearly fell out. I was so intrigued by the house and the scenery that I forgot for a moment I was hurt. Brad rushed to my side of the car to keep me from falling and scooped me up into his arms. I instantly tried to get down. I am too heavy to be carried around. What if I give him a hernia or some s**t? Will I ever forgive myself? Our arguing must have caused a commotion because the door to the house burst open and out walked Zander. I swear my heart started racing at the mere sight of him. He didn't say a word, just snatched me out of Brads' hands. He held me so tight it hurt, but I didn't complain because he looked like he needed it. Finally, he relaxed his hold a little and walked us into the house.
Zander's POV
I was so happy to see her I almost crushed her in a hug when I snatched her from Brad. She was still pretty bruised but was already starting to heal some. I will make sure my private doctor comes to the house daily to check on her progress. Allie being in my arms felt so right. I took her into the house and she stopped at the door with her mouth wide open. I gently touched her chin so she could close her mouth. I asked her if she wanted a tour but she was so starstruck. I grabbed her hand and walked her into the living room with Derek and Macy. I was a little nervous about her meeting the family. I hope everyone can get along.
