Zander's POV
Brad has rescued Allie and is taking her to the private hospital my family uses. Derek and his wife Macy spent the night because we stayed up all night going over the little bit of information we had and catching up. Me and Derek have known each other since I was a kid. I have the reputation of being ruthless, but I rarely get my hands dirty. My dad always ruled with an iron fist and the occasional brass knuckles. He and Willow, Derek's mother, became allies after they worked together, taking down an enemy that they had in common. They remained friends over the years. Willow was the Queen of the Mafia, and no one dared to cross her. Because she was a woman, a lot of men were intimidated and would try to come for her position . Needless to say, that never ended well. My father actually shot a guy who was sneaking up behind her once. She has always been there to do our dirty work ever since. When she and her husband Damien retired, they handed the business over to Derek. Usually his wife, Macy, does not go on missions with him, but since we are like family, she tagged along. I enjoyed talking with them and I know when we catch these bastards that hurt Allie, all Hell is going to break loose!!!
I am nervous about being around Allie when I get there. So much has happened since we met. I can't help but wonder what is going through her head right now. Does she think I am a crazy stalker too? Does she think that I will try to take advantage of her? My head is spinning with all different scenarios and ways this could pan out. I can’t stop my heart from racing with anticipation though. We have only met once, and I feel like her soul is calling me. "Ugh can’t you drive this car any f*****g faster? Should we be there by now? I am going to lose my s**t if I don't lay eyes on her soon. “Dude calm the f**k down, Macy is driving as fast as she can. I know you are eager, and I am too, but we have to use our brains. Getting into a car accident right now would not be smart, so chill the f**k out and let my woman drive." " I hear you Derek and Macy. I am sorry for yelling at you. My nerves are starting to get the best of me, that's all." "I completely understand Zander, we will be there soon." "Leave it to you Macy, to always be the voice of reasoning." I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw we were approaching the hospital entrance. The car barely made a complete stop before I rushed out of the car and into the elevator. I got off at her floor and burst into her room.
When I stepped into her room she was sleeping and badly bruised. I was so enraged I felt like I was about to lose it. I walked over to her bed and pushed hair from her face. I let her rest because she really needed it after everything she has been through. I promise when she leaves this hospital she is not going to leave my sight. I don't know what I would do if I lost her. After all that, I just found her. I went and checked on Zack and then left Allie in the capable hands of Brad. Tiffany came to the hospital with him some clothes and food. They will stay at the hospital with her until she is released and can come home. I chatted with them for a few minutes and then I left. I couldn't bare to see her like that any longer. Derek and Macy drove me back to the house. Now we will just play the waiting game until she is released.
