I pulled out my map and looked to see how many neighboring packs I had close by I saw only 3. Two of them I've spoken to before and they seem legit I've met both their Lunas and families and they seemed to run healthy packs. The 3rd I've never had anything to do with there was never any need and our kind  just don't go poking around when we don't need to.

I decided I would give him a call and Invite him and his Luna to dinner and find out a little about them. But first I would call Alpha Alex of the Red moon pack and have a chat with him to see if he new anything about them.

Then I would call Alpha Joe of the Silver moon pack and see what he knew. I was on the phone better of 4 hours chatting about the 3rd neighboring pack and basically got the same thing from both. They pretty much kept to themselves and didn't cause any trouble at least to either of them. They both said basically they met with him on occasions but only to discuss boarder stuff and they never met the Luna. They never really asked about her or anything personal it was all business

I did manage to get his name Alpha max of the Grey Moon pack. I sat back in my chair and dialed his number good evening Alpha my name is Alpha Johnathan of the Blue Moon pack and I realized today we have never spoken I would love to Invite you and the Luna to dinner if you would like to join me so we can get to know each other. 

I would love to he said but the Luna doesn't like to leave the lands I hope that doesn't offend you in anyway. No sir I cant say it would how about tonight say 6:00? See you then Alpha. I hung up the phone and clapped my hands. I hope I can get some info from him. Kate had to be from somewhere close and I know 2 of the packs pretty well and I cant believe either of them would ever lock someone up as a prisoner.

I cant go around accusing anyone of anything but some one had to know something and I was determined to find out. Who ever hurt my precious Kate was gonna pay and she needed answers to why everything was taken from her. I was brought out of my thoughts when jay walked in eating a sandwich like a barbarian. 

What are you doing and where is your plate? dude your so disgusting. He laughed and sat down please have a seat drop your crumbs everywhere. He rolled his eyes. I needed to talk to you I have a guest coming for dinner its the Alpha from the Grey Moon pack no one has actually ever sat down with him and I'm hoping he has info on Kate. 

Do you think he knows anything? I don't know and Kate never met him so she wouldn't know what he looks like. I'm hoping I can get information without giving too much. We will keep our circle small and talk as if we were trying to get to know him and put offers on the table for a treaty. Sounds good boss Jay said as he walked to the door. 

I mind linked everyone and let them know I was going to be in an important meeting and the pack house was off limits until tomorrow morning. At six on the dot the bell rang and we had our introductions. I hope you don't mind I brought my beta Pete. Not at all. Please come in we will be eating in my personal dining room this evening. They followed along letting me know my pack house was nice and homey. Do you have a pack house as well? Yes we have 1 giant pack house that myself and the Luna live in, my beta and a few omegas I've chosen he said. Everyone else lives in cottages around us. 

Sounds pretty similar to ours its nice to finally meet you. Please have a seat our dinner will be in soon. I hope you like bake steak? Actually I love it next thing I knew there was baked steak ,mash potatoes, corn, and rolls sitting in front us. Lets eat my beta will be in soon and he can serve himself. We ate and made small talk when Jay come in we got to business. 

Sorry Alpha I had something I needed to check before I came in. Good evening Alpha I'm the beta jay. Good evening Beta please call me Alpha max and this is my Beta Pete. We thought we would have you come by and talk about a possible treaty and get to know you so we could possibly become friends. I don't really like enemies much its better to just get along with everyone unless otherwise necessary.

I agree we mostly stay to our selves we never cause or have much troubles around our lands. Well that's good to know we have a rogue every now and then attempt to come in but they are dealt with right away. Once dinner was done and I got all the info I could without asking to many questions we headed for the door.

 We had to walk through the living room where Kate and Dee were vegged out in front of the tv. I'm sorry ladies we don't mean to interrupt but our guest is leaving. I rushed over and helped Kate up off the couch and wrapped my arms around her waste. Alpha Max Beta Pete this is my Mate Kate. Well hello there Kate he said with a smiling face and bright eyes. Hello Alpha I bowed. Where did Pete go I asked but the alpha just shrugged his shoulders and said probably to get the car. This is Dee my sister Jay said good evening miss. 

Well I must head out I have some thing to tend to at home. We shook hands and he walked off looking back at us a couple of times weirdly. As they drove off he just stared out the window. Creepy Dee said he looked at you like a piece of meat Kate. Eh he's just an old man I'm not worried.

Lets get you to bed I said to Kate, Please I'm so tired. We walked to her room I kissed her passionately and turned to leave but she grabbed my hand. Please stay with me I'm lonely in this big room by myself. MY wolf and I got really excited she made the first move. yay apex yells she is beginning to feel comfortable with us.

I laid down behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist. Who was that man at dinner she asked? He was a neighboring Alpha I invited to dinner no need to worry princess. Her body drooped and I knew she fell fast asleep.
