A few days after the ceremonies I asked my dad if he would like to travel a few hours and meet Kates pack? I really could use your opinion on what we should do. Kate does not want to go back and I cant be in 2 places at once. I'm sure our neighboring packs are going to want there warriors back soon and I would like my Beta home. Well son lets go and see what we can do and hopefully I can make some suggestions.

We decided to leave today after breakfast I offered Kate to attend if she wanted too but the look on her face told me the answer. Before she could speak my mother jumped in. John she is not traveling in her condition besides we have a nursery to put together so you and your father go.

I could tell by the look on my princesses face she was glad my mother over stepped and made the decision for her. I know she feels guilty stepping out from her responsibilities but it was just bad memories and there was no way she was gonna leave me.

Princess we will be gone a few days will you be ok here by yourself? I'm not alone silly your mother is here and Dee ill be fine she said with a smile. I warned Jay we were coming he better have the place spotless.  You be nice to him Alpha Kate said in a stern voice. He is running a whole pack by himself and away from us. If I find out you were mean to him you will be punished.

OK OK I said throwing my hands up. Please be careful and report to me everything you find out. Yes Alpha Kate I said with a smirk. Son have you figured out the finances yet? I nodded and said we will discuss that when we get there. He nodded understanding.

We ate and said our goodbyes and headed out. When we got onto the road I looked over to my dad, so the finances we have a problem and maybe you can help out. Ok son explain what you know, Well I began I've been looking at the paperwork and this Max guy had so many accounts and transfers I cant figure out why?

Well how much is in the account right now? 7 billion dollars. What! how in the world does one get that much money and own no businesses? What kind of nonsense was this man involved in? I don't know dad but we need to find out before it comes back to bite us. He nodded in agreement. 

We pulled up to the pack boarder and we were immediately stopped by patrol. Good afternoon Alpha one of the warriors said as he bowed. How's things going. I asked him. Well all has been quiet and that's how we like he chuckled. I agree as you were.

We followed the road in and parked in front of the Pack House where we were greeted with Jay eating a sandwich. I shook my head of course your eating again! He chuckled and gave me a hug. I've missed you too. Hello sir he said to my dad and shook his hand. So son I hear John has left you in charge? How are things doing?

Well sir its going ok. John left all rules in place before he left and everyone seems very compliant. I've took the initiative to re do the mansion it was cold, drafty and the damn water was luke warm. The teens and groundskeepers helped re do most of the inside. I didn't redecorate it just bought new beds. How is training going? I asked Jay. 

Good.. At first it was hard for people to get here on time but after making them run an extra mile for every minute they were late I can fully report everyone shows up on time. He said with a smile. Lets go to your office Alpha he said with a smile. 

We sat down and Jay had a huge grin on his face. Why are you smiling so much? Well Alpha I can proudly say I have found my mate! What! Really congrats man. She is an omega but she is beautiful and I cant wait for Luna to meet her. That's great man I'm happy for you.

We really need to figure out what we can do here I mean I need you at home. The girls are doing good but Kate is ready to rip everyone's head off and Dee has double the work and I'm drowning. We need to do something fast! I have an idea but I didn't want to discuss it in front of anyone.

Well son! Dad why don't you and mom come over and run this pack as Alpha and Luna? Oh son I don't know I'm getting to old for an Alpha position and your mom loves being a floor from you. Dad I'm running out of options here and Kate really does not want to be here in any shape or form. Tell you what lets do a run with the pack tomorrow and check out the grounds and buildings and we will go from there. Deal? he held out his hand. Deal he said.

The place does feel more homey I said to Jay. Thanks he said. I had to do something with that water goddess it was cold. I cant even imagine showering like that day in and day out. It took me 1 showering before I had it fixed. 

Lets grab some dinner and continue our chat. We got up and walked into the dining room and immediately we had dinner in front of us. Thank you ladies you may be excused I said and they bowed. Jay jumped up and ran to a small petite girl about 5ft. He grabbed her kissed her cheek Alpha Johnathan this is Mia and she is my mate. Well hello Mia I'm glad you found your mate Jay here is a good guy. Welcome to the family. She blushed and scurried away. She is lovely and Kate will approve.

Now back to business Jay have you found anything out on your end about the finances? Well I've come up with some names from files I've found but nothing more. I just cant figure out how you have that kind of money without owning any businesses. He was in some deep sh*t and I don't know what. But if we don't figure it out soon it will bite us in the a** I just know it. Jay said with a stern face.

That's what I fear and we made a promise to protect these people and I'm going to up hold that promise. I have a friend who does computer hacking and dark web stuff let me have him look into the names we have and go from there. Dad and Jay both agreed that would be best. Ill make the phone call now. 

I stepped away and dialed the number. Brett hey its Alpha Johnathan. Good buddy and you? Great I have some names I need you to look into if you would. Great the first name is Lucian Oliver the second is Damien Black the third is Allister Stowe. yes as soon as You can. Thanks buddy talk to you soon.

Done he is looking into as we speak. Good deal dad said. We had a few drinks and retired for the evening. I called home before bed to check on my princess. She was already in bed watching tv. I let her know everything was going great and Jay found his mate. She was very excited for him. We hung up and I laid down I knew it was gonna be a long night without her beside me.
