"Please no Salem," Mira whispered before twisting the knob and peeked through the ajar door but her wish won't come true when the girl she's wishing not to see is watching her act like she's hiding from some killer.

"Hey." Mira almost jump from her spot and looked at Salem with her lips formed into a thin line. Salem raised her brow while staring down at her, giving her a questioning expression.

"Hiding from me?" Salem asked before letting out a chuckle. Mira immediately looked away from the girl, "Sort of."

"Last night I'm thinking about hanging out with you since our classes is in the afternoon, are you free?"

"Yes?" Mira hesitantly answered before taking a glance at Ellistal.

"Nice."

"Are you sure you're not going to push me?" Mira asked. She's sitting still beside the watch room and Salem furrowed her brows then laughed at her question.

"Push you? No." Mira flinched when the girl recklessly sit beside her and doesn't mind falling from the top of a hundred feet establishment, "Have you ever get curious why this school is surrounded by snow even the sun shines here?"

"It's because of Zachary and his familiar."

"The war on this world never ends. Everything has its repercussions, the five Universities are created to protect and trained all the supernaturals. That includes the girl like you. The remaining four Universities headmasters don't know your existence yet but it better not to trust anyone."

"Why you're saying this to me now?" "I don't have any intention of reminding you this but it is because you don't know what's ahead of you inside this University. That's why instead of erasing your memory that day Zachary and I just talked to you, remember?" Mira nodded as her reply. On that day when she heard a whisper coming from the dark hallway, Zachary and Salem agreed to talk to her about the whisper. 'Does the both of them are not lying?'

“Tell me, do you want to join the forthcoming games? Have you ever get curious by what’s waiting for you when you win?”

“I’m thinking of it.” Salem chuckled at the response, completely amused by her confidence.

“Winning the games can raise your rank here.”

“You got rankings?”

“Absolutely. They can consider that on every entrance exams here but on your case, you got

Lady Selene watch over you to when you’re in the human world to recruit and to consider what your rank will be. Your rank is not that low, it can be perfectly fit as being part of the elite class. You worked hard for it from every small mission you got.”

“Joining that games will be a bad idea for you since we can’t trust everyone here. If you show them your magic, those knights after you might come and get you then kill you. We can’t risk you.”

“Raising it can make you prove them that you’re strong. By that, you can protect yourself hundred times more than what you did right now.”

“On that case,” Mira closed her eyes and make everything standstill, ”I need to raise my rank.”

“I think I and Zachary also Ellistal can help you with that.”

"You seem like getting along your familiar." Zachary greeted Mira entered his place. He eyed Ellistal standing behind the girl. She glanced at him before taking a glance at the window beside him.

"Yes, Ellis is nice. You don't need Salem to watch over me."

"I just forced that kid," Zachary chuckled then went outside together with Mira. Today, Mira and Zach are visiting him. Kellion is also a student here but mostly often ditched in class and stayed at the garden where they performed the activity two days ago. Inside of two days, the whole class; aside from Salem listened to their daily academic lesson.

"Great, both of you injured a boy in the middle of your class' activity," Zephyr said while using herself as the shield of the laying boy at the school clinic's bed.

"I'm sorry Lady Zephyr about that but Mr. Heilderwyn engaged at the very first," Ellistal said and the male agreed to defend their side. He glances at Mira who's conversing with her mother while Lily is assisting the injured student.

"Of course, you threatened him first!"

"The entrance of Meredith is not his territory." Salem deadpans. Their attention got steal by the girl reclining nonchalantly at the infirmary's chair. Her cold gaze makes Kellion feel the goosebumps breaking through his skin down to his spine and at the same time, angry.

"She's the one who broke my wing!" Kellion furiously and snatched the pair of scissors on the drawer beside him. He stood up in anger and approached the girl while gripping the sharp object in his hand.

"And? Do you want me to break the other one?" Salem asked, her emotionless stare got replaced by amusement that the angry male in front of her made.

"I don't care even you're a girl, I'm going to kill you!"

"Kellion!" Mira yelled. Zachary immediately prevents her from getting close to the both of them. Ellistal prevents Zephyr to do something inappropriate. Lily went out for a while and doesn't have any idea that the students inside the infirmary are starting to have a brawl.

"This is how she settle this matter, I don't want you to get involved," Zachary whispered.

"This is violence!"

"That's Salem Midari Zenith. Lady Selene ordered her to do something and I think it's about the game." Kellion's grip on the scissors on his hand gets tighter and looked down at the girl who's waiting for his reckless move.

"I can still remember your feud against someone. For a loser like you, you have some guts to show me your bravery. I'm going to be fair, I'll let you successfully injure me after three minutes but if you failed, you need to accept my further deal." Salem stood up, Kellion's height is nothing against hers. To be practical, the hybrid can easily overpower him in just a simple attack but Kellion is too driven by his anger to realize that.

"What did you call me?" The hybrid just shows him her small smirk before letting him attack her. Kellion grew angrier and stabbed her with his tactics yet everything is like a bullet got ricocheted against the hardest rock or like a rusted sword against the new sword that the blacksmith made.

"Wasted 1 minute and 40 seconds," Mira murmurs yet, astonished by Kellion's strategy yet worried about the result. Kellion used his unbroken wing to distract the girl before stabbing her. Salem smirked after the scissor pierced deeply against her arm and its tip is now peeking out into the other side. A victorious smile flashed on Kellion's lips. All of the individuals inside the infirmary gasped in shock. Salem shook her head in disappointment and pulled out the scissors covered with blood then watched every droplet fall on the ground. Kellion's victorious smile dropped,

"You're not an alpha but you act like one."

"I'm not acting like one I'm just being myself." She replied then throw the scissors to the wall beside him. The girl sprinted and kicked his knees to make him kneel on the floor then slammed him to the wall while aiming her hand covered with her fire on his neck

"Salem wins." Kellion glared at Zachary after announcing the girl's success.

"What's the deal?!"

"Join us to the Lutheran games."
