Carpe Diem

"ADRIETTE!! RUUUUUUN!!" my mom shouted at me. I didn't move. I stood there as I watch those monsters rip my parents limb by limb. I finally snapped out of shock when I saw a large silver wolf turn into human and started walking towards me. I ran as fast as I could. I'm running too fast that I even thought I have superspeed. I kept running until I reached the highway where we left our car. I wanted to go back amd save them, but who am I kidding? They are already dead. My parents are dead and now I'm alone. I was driving too fast that I didn't notice another car approaching. I pulled the breaks hard and hit a giant oak tree. Before I fall into darkness, I heard a faint voice, "Come home, my child" Is it mom and dad? Am I going to die? I hope so. I can't live alone. I'd rather die and be with them. I'm coming home, mommà! - "Earth to Adi, Adi to Earth!" my bestfriend Nova called out to me. "Penny for your thoughts? We need to get aboard now or the plane will fly with 2 empty seats!!" she scolded. Her high pitched screams are echoeing through my ears. "Why are you always so loud? We're at the f*****g airport." I saw a lot of people staring at us. Some with confusion but mostly are annoyance. We have been arguing nonstop since we left the house. She was literally nagging about everything. The b***h even blamed me for her tangled hair. "You know, if you only helped me pack my things, I could've remembered combing my hair before leaving. Now my hair is all knotty!" she whined. "If you just started packing yesterday, then you could have all this morning curling and straightening your hair back and forth, scemo." I stated in a matter-of-fact tone. "Whatever. Let's just take a rest thoughout the flight. L.A. here we come! I can't wait to taste all the men in Los Angeles!" she said nonchalantly. I scoffed and put on my earphones. Wait for me mom and dad. I will avenge your deaths. I will kill all those monsters even if it's the last thing I do.
