Daisy’s POV

I wiped off the tears from my eyes looking at him, how do they expect me to enjoy my first wedding night with someone unconscious?

I didn’t even know the time Alpha Nicklaus's mother came in, her voice made me know she was in here with me.

“You see my son is in a coma, he was involved in a serious accident and has been like this for over two months.”

Oh no, two months in a coma, is he ever going to wake up soon? What if he dies and I get accused of being the one that killed him because they all say I am a cursed child?

“So not a word out there, you need to look after your husband from now on and keep talking to him until he gets better, give him your body as well, I want you to get pregnant early.” She said not minding to ask me what I really want. I guess I have no other choice but to obey her orders without defiling them, I don’t know if she is wicked like my stepmother so it’s best I just obey everything she says without going against her order.

“I will look after the Alpha, my Luna.”

“Good, dinner will be served soon.” She said. At least I know I will be able to eat freely without getting punished or locked up.

“Thank you so much my Luna, I really appreciate ” I added with a smile.

She ignored my thanks and walked close to her son. She caressed his hair saying, “Nicklaus, fight this, you have a pack to run and I miss my son as well, get better soon and your new wife will look after you from now henceforth so you don’t have to worry.” She kissed his cheek.

“Failure to look after my son, I will deal with you and lastly if he dies, you will die with him, understood?” she yelled and I got frightened by her, “Yes, I do.”

“Better.” She walked away.

Two weeks passed just like that and Alpha Nicklaus was still in a coma, I finally got to meet the Beta, named Jude but he had to carry out the task on behalf of the alpha, no one must know must happened to him. I heard the Alpha also has a sister and I am yet to see her. Though I am not happy at all because I am living in bondage, I haven’t gone to the woods here as well, I am always indoors with the Alpha. I got so attached to the Alpha and developed feelings for someone who hasn’t woken up,is it normal at all?

That fateful night while I was still with the Alpha saying some kinds of stories to him, he held onto my hands and opened his eyes slowly.

“You are awake, yes, everyone the Alpha is finally awake.” Tears of joy left my eyes to behold this moment.

“How are you feeling? My bad, my name is Daisy, your wife.”

“I know, I heard everything you said while I was still unconscious, don’t tell anyone, I am awake for now, is that clear?”

“Yes Alpha, what about your mother?”

“I said tell no one that I am awake, is that difficult to do?”

“Not at all Alpha Nicklaus.” I doubted the rumours about him, he doesn’t sound like a monster to me, maybe he is not ruthless at all, it might be a made-up story.

I noticed he activated his wolf when his iris changed to red, he was trying to trigger his healing and when he did that, he looked perfectly well.

“I will go get your food so you can eat,” I said standing up but he carried me with speed to the bed, my heart was beating fast with the way he was close to me.

“What are you going to do to me Alpha?”

“You are mine so let’s make up for the wedding night.” He said reaching for my lips, I didn’t know the exact reason why I reciprocated the kiss. He handled me with care and I loved everything he did to me though the s*x was painful since it was my first time. A week passed by and we were always having s*x together, I thought things were going well for us and I hoped that he loved me but boom, he finally revealed to his mom that he was back saying his accident was planned by someone who wanted to get rid of him and he is going to find the master planner and eliminate the threat as soon as possible.

Three months later, I was in the living room watching TV when a lady came in with her luggage and I thought she was Alpha Nicklaus's sister.

“You must be Alpha Nicklaus's sister, my name is Daisy and I am his wife.” She burst into serious laughter.

“Why are you laughing? Did I say something funny?” I inquired wondering what was funny about my statement.

“Do I look like Nicklaus's sister to you?”

“If you are not Nicklaus's sister, then you must be a member of his family right?”

“You poor thing, you might be Nicklaus's wife on paper but I am going to be his legal wife and Luna, do you know why? I am his mate and we have been together for so long, so if I were you, I would get my things to start leaving, your time here is up.”

Tears gathered in my eyes, I couldn’t believe her, I know Nicklaus wants me more even if I am just his wife on paper, I know the last months we have spent together he loves me so much,I won’t allow her to get to me.

“You are lying,” I said to her.

“Wake up from your dream Daisy, do you think Alpha Nicklaus will end up with a worthless Omega like you? Your father gave you out so your pack could have the protection of Alpha Nicklaus, you are just a thing that was sold out okay.”

“No, that’s not true, you are fabricating things,I won’t believe you.”

“I don’t care if you believe me or not, Nicklaus told me everything, he has been with me those periods when he was not home, let me break the good news to you poor thing, I am having Nicklaus baby soon.”
