Daisy’s POV
She dropped the bomb and I stood there frozen not knowing what else to say out, she is pregnant for the man I love? “I hope you know the meaning of that right? The queen has returned so you need to leave for good.” She tapped my shoulders, I refused to be treated this way by a stranger I barely knew,I didn’t believe her.
“Get out of here,” I said suddenly getting the boldness to defend myself.
“What did you just say? Are you walking me out of my man’s home? You must be crazy.“ She said to me and I stopped her from going in, I ended up struggling with her when suddenly someone pushed me really hard. I landed on the floor and I was lucky to not have fallen to my death.
“Are you hurt, love?” It was Nicklaus, he looked at her with affection not minding what happened to me. I allowed the tears to flow like a river.
He carried her to sit properly while I just remained in the same position watching the whole drama, does it mean I never meant a thing to Nick? I thought he loved me. I was ready to defend him to the world that he was not what the rumours described him to be or was he just pretending to me?
“Daisy, meet me in my room now.” He ordered and headed to his room. I stood up in shame ajd the lady said to me, “Do you still need proof for you to know that I am his only lover? And you are just a s*x tool to him to calm his nerves down. You should know the meaning of the bond between two mates” She laughed evilly but I didn’t say a word, I deserved some answers from Nicklaus, he should tell me this is not happening because my heart can’t take it anymore.
I got to Nicklaus's room and took a deep breath before opening the door.
I walked sluggishly to him and was the first to speak, “Nicklaus, tell me all this was a prank?” The response I got from him was a slap on my face.
“Shut up woman, never you speak until I ask you to, I called you here so I do the talking?” I still can’t believe this is happening.
“You slapped me?”
“I will do it again for you to get to your senses, who do you think you are?” He yelled at me and I got the chills.
“But I..”
“Quiet.” His red eyes triggered my fear, what if he kills me now? I am doomed.
“Let me make one thing clear, you are just here to satisfy me, I don’t know what my mother was thinking that you could get pregnant for me, you are not just worthless, you are a barren werewolf.” His words pierced my heart like a dagger had been used to stab me in the heart.
“Never lay a finger on Mitchell, she is my mate and the future Luna, you should give her the respect she deserves and most importantly she is with my child.” He told me my place, so my father sold me out to be a tool to the alpha while in return they got protection. The most painful part was the fact my father never asked after me, they all forgot about me, I guess the Moon Goddess has turned her back on me and at this rate, it’s best I just meet my death.

Mitchell lived with us and was treated as a queen, she was always around Alpha Nicklaus not even giving me a chance to talk with him when I had something important to tell him.
Most nights, Nicklaus will barge into my room for s*x, “Please Alpha, I am too tired.”
“How dare you deny me of my s*x when you are my property?” He would hit me and force his way to gain entrance, my life was a living hell.
I was taking a nap in the garden when Mitchell poured cold water on my body, I jumped up in fear only to see it was her, “You didn’t have to do that.”
“Now listen to me very well you worthless b***h, you can’t be sleeping all day without doing some chores, so the new rules, you work and you eat.” Mitchell is beginning to sound like my stepmother.
“My clothes are dirty, I want you to wash them with your hands and don’t you dare make use of the washing machine.” She said to me like I was her personal maid.
“I am not your maid Mitchell, you can ask the maid to do it for you.”
“I am talking to a maid right now, so get to it immediately.” She ordered.
“I am sorry, I am not your maid and don’t ruin my rest again,” I warned.
“You dare refuse my order, I am going to inform the Alpha and you will be dead meat.” She threatened walking away and I just thought she was bluffing not when she returned with Alpha Nicklaus with her dress torn and tears flowing from her eyes, what the hell happened to her?
Nicklaus gripped me by the neck and tightened his grip saying, “I told you not to ever lay a finger on my mate, didn’t I?” oh my goodness, did she just fake a story like my stepsister?
“I didn’t do it.” I struggle to speak.
He finally let me go saying, “From this day henceforth, you are not allowed to eat until Mitchell permits you, she asked you to wash her clothes, do it immediately, you are her maid and If you ever defy her orders,you are dead.” He said gazing at me with those cold eyes.
I nodded in tears and he carried Mitchell in his arms saying, “You need rest because of my baby in your womb.”
“You are so caring Nick.” I was consumed with jealousy but I had no other choice but to wake up to reality.
While washing her clothes and doing everything she asked me, I felt so dizzy and before I knew it I was in the bathroom throwing up. What the hell is wrong with me?
I kept falling sick these past few days and I heard from the maid that Alpha Nicklaus's sister named Sonia was around, I heard she is no different from her brother as well,I guess I need to avoid her as well so I won’t have more punishment.

Sleeping in my room, Nicklaus's sister came to me saying, “How are you feeling?”
I shivered in fear while answering her, “I’m fine.”
“You don’t have to be scared of me okay? I won’t harm you, I like you and not that b***h my brother is with, now I am here, I will make things easy for you.”
“Thank you but it’s impossible because I am just a s*x pleaser to your brother, nothing good is expected of me.”
“My brother loves me so much and will kill for me, I know Mitchell is up to no good at all, my hunch does not lie, it’s best you don’t know everything for now so you can be safe when I am done you will be the Luna, you have a good heart.” She gave me some fruits in the process, “I heard you haven’t eaten all day.”
“Thank you so much, ma’am.”
“Call me sister, okay?”
For the first time someone cared for me, I called her sister and she hugged me in the process.
She whispered to me saying, “Can you do me a favour?”
“Yes, I can.”
“Keep your pregnancy a secret for now, can you do that?”
I found it weird, I know I am not pregnant, “You got it all wrong, I am not pregnant.”
“You are pregnant and I don’t need to tell you how I know about it so take this contact, if things don’t go well, call this number and tell him you are from Sonia, he will protect you.”
“I need to go now.”
“Thank you so much, can I hug you again?”
“Yes.” I stood on my feet and hugged her before she left my room. I finally got a little hope to live again, then I memorized the number before falling asleep.
At midnight, I heard a loud crash that woke me up and the light went off. I took my touch light to check what was going on when I saw Sonia in the pool of her blood and then Mitchell was holding a silver knife covered with blood.
“You came at the right time, now you can cover my mess.”
“You are evil, how could you kill the Alpha sister?”
“Did I kill her? I didn’t, you did.” She laughed like a psychopath.
“I am happy you are weak so it’s easy.” She added and just like a speed of light, she placed the knife in my hands and stabbed herself with it, “You killed Nicklaus's sister and now you try to kill me and his baby, finally I will be getting rid of you.” The light came up and boom Nicklaus rushed in and saw everything, he fell to the ground close to his sister's corpse.
I let go and Mitchell fell to the ground and spoke with a faint voice, “I tried to stop her.”
My hands were shaking because it was also covered with blood, I cried like a baby, “I didn’t do it, I am not capable of murder, she planned it all.”
Nicklaus roared in pain and for the first time I saw tears leaving his eyes.
