The winds was cool, whistling in the middle of the night. A girl was outside, seated alone at the front of her house. She was so sad. The gate opened. A man walked into the compound. She ran to him" otuosan ". She hugged him happily. " hey stop hugging me. where's your mother?". " she's inside waiting for you ". She held his hand. " what did you bring for me?". He opened his bag and brought out a little bag of fruit. " thank you ". She smiled and collected the fruit. They walked into the house and saw the woman dead. " honey!!", he shouted. He ran to her shaking her body. " mom ". The little girl was trembling at that moment." mom", she called again, this time was with fear. The man ran out of the house to go find help. ~ ~ ~ The little girl was seated on the grass playing, while her father was harvest in farm land. " Lala come help me with that cutlass". Her father called her. She got up and went to render him some help. she was going back to sit down, the she saw a creature like snake crawling away. " papa, snake ", she shouted. Immediately the snake started crawling faster. her father chase the snake with a basket. He caught it in the basket. " wow papa it's a little snake ". she smiled,looking at snake. ~ ~ ~ Lala father put the snake on the table. She sat closed to it. " hey don't go close it will blind your eyes Lala ". she shifted back away from it. " is it really dangerous papa? ". "of course Lala ". Her father brought a plate of food to her. " eat up ". she took the food from him. " what are you gonna do with it, papa? ". " I don't know for now ". He walked away. Lala glanced at the snake. it was also staring back at her. " papa is good is going to kept you ". ~ ~ ~ Lala was doing the little house chores she could while she was humming, she started dancing, she turned around and saw the snake also dancing. She stopped humming, then the snake stop dancing . she went to the snake and continued humming. The snake got up and started dancing. This made Lala really happy. ~ ~ ~ Lala will continue singing for the snake just to make it dance. Papa walked in one and carried it away when Lala was as sleep. the slammed as he left. Her eyes opened. she didn't saw the snake there any longer. she ran out to find it, she saw her father giving it to a man . The man gave papa money. Lala hid behind a big basket, when Papa and the man was done, she followed the man as he left the compound. The man dropped the snake outside the went inside the house. Lala opened the cage of the snake, she carried and ran away. she stood beside the river and dropped the snake. she ran home immediately.
