Medusa (Part One)

MEDUSA On the 31st of October, Medusa was born but before that, Sarah her mother was having a confliction giving birth to her. Sarah is good woman who helps people, so that is why the goddess of beauty came along and help her. And she give her a gift. "Sarah, as your goddess who appreciate your kindness towards people Im giving you a gift for your daughter. " A soft voice coming from the goddess. "D-daugther?" Sarah stutter as she hear the goddess to say those words. 'I have a daughter. Oh god a daughter. ' A warm laugh filled the room. "I, Aphrodite giving your daughter a beauty and good life and health, for you. And for your happiness. " And a cried of a baby makes everyone in the room tear with joy and fulfillingness. "Hi my daughter. I am your mother. " "And you are Medusa from now on. " - "Mother~" A soft tone of voice speak. It was Medusa calling her mother. "I sold the flowers but, there we're three oldmen who dont have money to pay for it and they said it was for their wife so I give it for free. " Her mother laugh as her daughter speak like it is a sin to give the flowers for free. "Oh dear, it doesn't matter. What matter is your heart being kind to other. " her mother said. "Thank you mother. " Her mother brush her hair and after that they called their other family member to join the table. "Thank you for the food, and we are all happy to celebrate the birth date of my only daughter. Medusa. " Shock written on her face. Its her birthday but she didn't remember. Everyone laugh with her shocking face and then afterwards they all enjoy the feast. Years and months past, Medusa grow faster, and she grow very beautiful that everyone amazed by her beauty. And this is the time when her true faith awaits. - "See you my love. After I finish my mission I'll come back to you. Its just three days parting apart to you. Dont be sad. " Its her the love of her life. Isaac. Who saying goodbye to her because he has mission to do, to help people. "I know. But, I just can't stop being sad. You know how I love seeing you near by me. " Isaac laugh and hug Medusa. "Hush dear. I will come home as soon as possible. Your mother Sarah is there to ease your saddening. This is my mission my love, and you know how I love helping unfortunate people. " She nodded and hug Isaac back. "Be home safe. " " I will. I love you my love." " I love you too. Isaac." - "Come buy our fresh flowers. This is newly harvest from our own garden. Its fresh and really scented. Buy one for your love one's." Everyone who has love one's came closer to her and her flowers. Buying one or more flowers for their love one's. How she missed Isaac. Its been one day tearing apart from him. "Hey, this is for you. " She look up as she heard unfamiliar voice in front of her. She saw a guy holding a flower that brought by her. She smile. "I am really sorry. My flowers are not for me, its supposedly for your love one's. " "But you are my love. " Shock written on her face but she managed to smile. "Sorry, I already have my man. Please give it to the woman who inside your heart is special. " "Here. " the guy took her hand and put the flowers in her palm. He put his finger to his chest. "You are special to me. " A nervous laugh came out from Medusa. "Why would I be? You dont even know me. " "Oh I dont need to know you. But your face is enough. Your beautiful face. Your the most beautiful woman I ever seen. So please accept my flowers. " The man bow to her and kiss the back of her palm before it left. She look at the flowers and no words, she put it back to the flower arrangements. "I only accept my Isaac flower. " She murmured as she continue to sell. Noon after that incident, a group of men came to her and buy her flowers. She sold it happily because she thought it was for their woman they loved but she was wrong. "Flower for you. I know your name Medusa. " "This flower is also for you my beautiful. " "Here, flower for the most beautiful woman I've ever seen in my entire life. " When she's going to complaint about the beauty of hers the men already left. And after and hour, the same thing happen to her. "Flowers for the beauty like you. " "Your flowers are gorgeous and fresh. Just like you. " " I already saw the goddess of beauty but guess what? I was mesmerize by your beauty more. " "You are suppose to be a goddess, not a mere ordinary human being." "Your beauty says, I should rule the world." She feel nervous and terrified , so she decided to clean and pack all the unbought flowers and take it home with her mindless brain, and with her fear. - "Mother I swear, those guys are creeping me out. They keep on saying im the most beautiful woman but that is all fault. Goddess Aphrodite is the most beautiful goddess in our world and no one , no one can shine Bright as she is. " "Take it slow my daughter. Maybe I'll do the selling tomorrow. Stay here for a meantime alright? You look really terrified my dear and Im worried. " She hug her mother Sarah as her mother slowly brushing her hair. And just then, she slept. "My love. Why should we do about it?" It was Sarah's husband. Josiah. "I dont know dear. But what Im sure, that the goddess will punish us for something we didn't do. And Im afraid of Medusa. She is softhearted, she is fragile. I dont want her to get punish by the goddess. " "Dont worry mother. We will take care of our sister. Aside from you and father. She is the last person who we'll need to protect. " A smile written on Sarah's face as she listen to her sons words.
