Stranded
Alex Aderson twitched his tongue at the thought of eating a hamburger at a fast food restaurant with a nice cold soda. The thought made him drift off, and he began to wake up when a scream pierced his ears, shattering his dreams.
"You pervert?!" A woman slapped Alex hard on the cheek, causing him to jump and realize that his
His hand pressed against a woman's breast that was familiar to him. Alex reflexively pulled his hand away and slipped to the shore as he tried to turn around.
In the midst of this, he had not yet fully regained consciousness. The panic that gripped him made him flap his hands in search of something to hold on to, and his legs kicked. "Help me, I'm going to die!" She screamed, salt water flooding her nose and mouth every time she tried to breathe.
"Why does this hamburger taste salty? My soda water has become as salty as seawater. What's going on?" Alex yelled over and over. He looked distraught and couldn't think straight.
"Oh my God! What's wrong with that guy? He looks like he's going to die in the shallow end of the ocean. He just needs to get up and wake up from his dream." Said a chuckling stranger, shaking his head.
Alex was surprised to hear the man's words clearly in his ears. He immediately stopped his panic and stood impassively, trying to gather all his senses and realize that the sea was shallow.
Alex was sitting on a rock next to a woman who was staring at him sarcastically. She was Fiona Cornelis, a 25-year-old woman who was the CEO of Moc. Besides being beautiful, she was also very smart and sexy. Many single men wanted to try to get close to her, but her cold demeanor discouraged them.
Fiona looked at Alex angrily, feeling that she was the only victim of Alex's harassment.
"Your jokes amuse me, but you are a perverted hooligan!" She said, showing her annoyance.
"I'm sorry, I thought it was all a dream, so I didn't notice." Alex felt very guilty and apologized again and again. His expression was grim.
But when he looked around, all he saw was an ocean with waves crashing back and forth with no end in sight. When he looked up, the sky was scorching and the heat burned his skin. Turning his head to the left, he saw a small deserted island with some natural plants growing on it. From all of this, Alex realized that he was stranded on a deserted island.
"What happened last night?" Alex asked the stranger curiously.
He couldn't remember anything after he got seasick, felt dizzy and vomited. So he decided to sleep on a chair on a cruise ship while his friends had a party.
"Hey, mister, you forgot that our yacht had an accident and exploded because lightning struck the exhaust funnel during the rain last night. And we were declared missing?"
"Missing? That word gives me the creeps. You'd better not call me sir, because I'm only twenty-nine years old. I'm Alex Aderson, a programmer for an Internet company. And last night I got seasick," Alex explained.
"Oh dear! No wonder you weren't wearing a life jacket like everyone else. I thought you were a floating corpse, so I left you alone, but this young lady refused, she wanted to help you because you were one of her employees. When she saw that you were still alive, she tried to lift you ashore until the buoy was washed away. You don't know that to return the favor is to harass her." The stranger explained the chronology of events.
Fiona turned to the stranger and whispered, "You? Don't let that punk know everything, Max!" She turned her face away in annoyance.
Knowing this, Alex felt very bad. It seemed that apologizing was not the answer. Besides, the shirt Fiona was wearing seemed to be torn at the chest due to the scratches on her breasts that she hadn't noticed when she woke up.
How could she express her gratitude to her boss for helping her so kindly? Unfortunately, she had repaid him badly. Moreover, all this time, Alex had secretly liked her boss, often stalking her without a reason.
Alex let out a long sigh as he looked around full of emotion. "If there was an accident last night, I didn't expect to be alive and see this vast ocean again."
"You're right Alex, I even came to my senses when the ocean waves were rocking. And I immediately headed for land and met Fiona." Max smiled as he turned to Fiona.
Seeing that Fiona looked cold and indifferent, he threw some stones he had picked up beside the beach rocks.
"Anyway, you really make me laugh out loud Alex, you cheer me up." Max laughed and held his stomach.
"Is there something funny?" Alex looked at Max curiously.
While Max held his stomach, he held back his laughter. "Of course, if everyone saw you they'd laugh at you. You're a floating corpse who got seasick. When you woke up, you were delirious and fell into the sea that you thought was deep, but it was actually shallow. Isn't that embarrassing?"
Alex was silent, she realized that what she had done was so humiliating, her pride falling in front of the person she had always liked. He bit his lip, feeling that his life was so dramatic.
At the same time, a faint call came from the distance along with the breeze. "Hey, come here!"
"Are they calling us?" Alex was surprised, he thought that the three of them were on this island, but it turned out that there were two other foreign women waiting for him on the shore, waving their hands.
"Yeah, I guess so."
"We should go to the coast to rest and look for food. Isn't our job to survive now?" Alex walked towards the shore while Max and Fiona were silent for a moment, looking at each other and finally following Alex's footsteps towards the shore.
Arriving at the island, Alex was so excited that his pace was so fast. "Hi, Alex! Where are you going?" Max stopped Alex from leaving them.
Fiona looked over and saw Alex holding a knife. "What's that? Are you carrying a knife?"
"Yes, I found this army knife in my pocket, and since I had to, I thought I would find it.
"Yes, I found this army knife in my pocket, and since I had to, I thought finding a coconut would quench my thirst and dehydration instead of drinking seawater." He replied.
Fiona was silent, she thought for a moment. "Well, I'll do something, so the rescue team can easily find our location." She said and went to the wider side of the beach.
She picked up some black rocks and arranged them into a long SOS sign, hoping that a helicopter or other rescue team would see it.
However, the shirt she was wearing was torn at the chest so that when the wind blew, the bra she was wearing was visible. Fiona was upset and angry at Alex, looking at him as if she wanted to kill him.
As Alex watched Fiona from a distance, he felt his hair stand on end as she wrote the SOS. "What's wrong with her? Why do I look at her like she's going to kill me?" Alex snorted coldly, uncomprehendingly, then noticed that he was looking at her contemptuously from a distance. "How naive of her, does she think the rescue team will come quickly if they don't know her coordinates? I'd better find some food." He grumbled.
