Sleep was far from me last night. Even after Diana had walked away, Lucien and I exchanged a few words and then I went to another room.
How could I sleep when I knew that she would be up all night thinking about what happened? How selfish could I be? It wouldn't be fair on her.
Before long, the sun rose up and I jumped into the bathroom. I needed to act fast or else, I would lose everything. I needed to make sure that I spoke to Diana before Lucien did because he would just add salt to injury.
