Chapter 24 The next couple of days, I wasn’t myself. I couldn’t stop thinking about the photograph or mum and dad and the mess I’d made of everything. I’d busied myself as best I could and thankfully no one asked why I was so quiet. But now, it was Friday and I was determined to put the photograph to the back of my mind. After all, I had market day to organise and then, then I was seeing Leo. That thought made my heart twinge just a little. I spent the morning with Francesca organising the licensing and paperwork for the market stall and orecchiette competition, which helped keep my thoughts at bay.
