I became so gloomy that Mia noticed my sudden change in behaviour and asked me why I became so sad ever since I woke up in the hospital. I narrated the whole story to her, and she was shocked at how much I had gone through all on my own.

“Bella, I didn’t know that you had gone through such just to raise that money, and at the end of the day, it was all for nothing”

“No, Mia. It wasn’t all for nothing. At least I am proud that I could to such extent for my mother and at least, I got to see her and also fulfil her last wish”

“Last wish....... how did you know about her last wish? She had already died, so how did you know”

“I had died too, Mia. I saw my mother there and she told me that it wasn’t my time to die yet and that I should go back even though life was about to take a sad turn but in the end, I was going to be happy.”

“Did you just say, happy, Bella. I have heard a lot about Lucas Davis, and from what I heard, he is not a good man at all. He is a beast in human form. I wouldn’t even want my worst enemy to be close to him. Look here, Bella, we can escape from here to somewhere far and moreover, you have a lot of money so you will be made for life”

“No, Mia, I can’t. I already signed a contract and moreover, my mum has already assured me that I will be happy in the end so I trust her. I will go into this marriage and bear what I have to bear, Mia, I am not a coward, I am my mother’s daughter.”

“Ok, Bella, since you have made up your mind, then I can’t stop you. I hope you are safe in this journey. You are about to begin and always get in touch with me, okay, so that I can be sure that you are fine.”

“No worries, my friend. I will be fine and I will inform you if it gets unbearable, okay.”

“That’s my girl, now cheer up, dear let’s go out for the last time before you leave here.”

“Sure, let’s go”..........

We dressed up, and we hit the club. We danced and drank till we couldn’t feel our legs again. How on earth were we going to go back home in this state, we had no idea. I felt pressed, so I staggered myself to the bathroom, and I mistakenly entered the male restroom, I had no idea since I wasn’t paying attention.

On entering one of the toilets, I bumped into a hard chest. I looked up to look at this fellow that I just bumped into, and I became speechless. He was the most handsome guy I had ever seen. His blue eyes drew me in with every glance I took at him. His curly brown hair made him look like my Prince charming that I had always imagined.

He held me tightly, and for some reason, I felt safe. This was the first time that I felt total peace in the arms of a stranger.

“Hello, beautiful” he said to me with the most sexy voice ever. Oh my gush, I was flustered.

“Hi, Prince..... charming” I stammered as an effect of my drunken state. He opened the restroom door for me to use the restroom while he waited outside for me.

He noticed that I was dead drunk, so he took me to his hotel room. I wasn’t scared for one bit because if an evil man like Lucas could sleep with me, then a gentle fellow like this would be more amazing. I pulled him for a kiss, and he was shocked at first, but then he blended well. We kissed like two lost lovers, and we undressed ourselves to do the normal bedroom activity.

For an unknown reason, this guy pushed me off and said “ We can’t do this, okay. You are a stranger, and I just helped you. I didn’t bring you here to sleep with you, I did that because you do not have where to go at this time of the night and your life might be in danger, that’s all, so please, have some rest, then when you are sober, you can leave”

I felt like the most stupid person in the world right now. “Well, I am sorry. I thought that was what you wanted and the fact is that you look good and I was mesmerised the moment I saw you. I know that I should not have done that, I am deeply sorry, Mr. Innocent”

After saying what sounded like an apology to me, I fell down on the bed like a log and dosed off.

Did she just call me Mr. Innocent, holy crap, she is just so weird. Thank goodness she is leaving my place tomorrow because I can’t even imagine dealing with her for a day. I looked at her while she slept. She looked admirable and cute to me. Her hair was messy and was covering a part of her face. She looked like a cute baby in her sleep. Hmmmm..... those lips of her look so plump and red, they must be soft as well.... Her skin looked like milk, and her figure was just how I liked it. There was a perfect opportunity to see all these things, but then she was drunk, I couldn’t have done such with her, and then I got to be called a r****t, no wayyyyyy.

I admired her beauty for some time and went to lay down on the sofa to sleep and I hoped that wouldn’t see her by the time I woke up because I do not like her but I think I am attracted to her, well, it’s complicated so it will be better if she disappears as soon as possible.
