The sound of rustling and soft voices woke me from my slumber. I hadn’t even realised I’d fallen asleep. It must have been the exhaustion. I rubbed my heavy eyes and pushed myself up from the cold ground. Compared to the stones in the dungeon, the grass and earth was like a soft mattress. From my position, I could make out two figures standing near the walnut tree. I couldn’t quite make out their faces but they didn’t look like Ravens. That didn’t mean anything though, there were plenty of other people in the world that could hurt me. As quietly as I could, I pushed a twig to the side to get a better view of the people.
