Mercy was busy giving Mia an encouraging gaze with a thumbs up secretly that only Mia could see her and Mia gave her a thumbs up too. But guess what, the gossip queen among the three girls squad finally got to class. On walking into the class door, she stumbled upon the two newly match-made couples and gave off a wide smile at them while greeting " Oh! Hi Mia, hi Valentino " they responded " Hi Marbel "

And they made their way out and Marbel made her way in as well. She rushed to Mercy who was looking at them and asked " Hey! Gal, who met who first? " " She did " Mercy replied. Marbel exclaimed " OMG! WOW! " Marbel continued " I never knew she had such a huge courage. Impressive " " nah nah, it was really a thug of war for her " Mercy emphasized but Marbel still stood her ground " If Mia could still fight herself and talk to that guy, she is really courageous. The Mia I know would rather mop her room for a week than try to start a conversation with a random guy " The two girls burst into laughter.

Coming back to Mia and Valentino, Valentino noticed that Mia was shy and decided to help her by laying a foundation for their discussion " Your friend Marbel said you needed someone to stand in as your boyfriend " Mia joined the topic " Yeah. The invitation card said so. I would have turned down the offer but my friends wouldn't let it happen " " Are you sure you really want me to do that for you? Stand in as your boyfriend? " Valentino asked and Mia responded " Val, it's fine if you don't want to. I can't possibly force myself or anyone to go beyond their powers " Valentino took over " I don't see anything bad about it. I can do it if you want it too. I guess that would be for the entry match and table settings. But the fun and all others should be different " " Yeah, you're right. You know what, we should engage more in talks " Mia suggested " That would be great " Valentino supported. Then Mia asked him " Can I get your number, please? " " Oh! Sure. That will be great too " Valentino made an exchange of numbers with her. Marbel comes into play " Hi guys! Once more though " " Hi! " They responded Marbel went further to ask " Hope I'm not disturbing? " Mia gave her a look that says ' Marbel, what are you up to? ' Valentina replied " No, not at all " then Marbel moved on to say " Okay, uh..m I'm actually here to help Mia say stuff that I know she won't remember. So Val, we'll be shopping for the party on Friday evening. Everyone will assemble at the school's gate after our Friday sports " " Alright, but... " Valentino wasn't in a good spot to cater for a new dress to the party but Marbel understood and assured him " Don't you worry, the bills will be on us since we called you for this " and he nodded his head in agreement. They all made their way into the classroom, it was time for classes.

RING RING RING ( Dismissal bell )

" So, tell us Mia, what do you think of him? " Mercy asked Mia but Marbel decided to cut in " Oh jeezz! Mercy, you can't imagine the love cycle I saw in their conversation. Like I was jealous already... " " Oh please Marbel, can you stop already? " Mia demanded " No, baby I can't " Marbel replied and Mercy said " Alright, this little girl over here is confused " Mia assured her " Gal, there's nothing to be confused about. Just don't let Marbel's words get into your head. You know she can over react to little things and..." "And that's why I'm confused. I mean , I, we, want to know what happened. How the whole talk went" Mercy asked for clarification "Alright, I'll tell you. Yes for now he's good at conversations, I mean he's not boring. And I asked for our phone numbers exchange so we can talk more... " Mia cleared them and Mercy happily added " And get to know each other better, as well " they all burst out in laughter. Their drivers were already waiting outside the school's gate to pick them up. " 3 M's, Best friends forever " they hopped into their cars and were driven to their various homes.

Mia was in deep thought, to either let her mom know about the party rules or let it slide without her consent. Her mom won't be against it but she would find one of her friends' sons to be her date for the party. Mia doesn't want to go out with any of them because of their rude and arrogant behaviors. So, she finally decided not to let her mom know about it.

Valentino decided to text Mia after his family's supper ' Hey, are you still up? ' that time was almost barely eight in the night. Not long after, he received a reply from Mia ' Hey, I'm still up. I was in a conversation with my mom after our supper. Why are you still up?' ' I don't sleep this early. I go to sleep around ten in the night ' Valentino replied but Mia was curious to know what keeps him up till that moment ' Okay, can I know your reasons?' Valentino, not being reluctant gave a reply ' Sure. I study before going to bed and also when I get up from bed ' Mia being amazed replied ' WOW! That's a good thing' Valentino was glad ' Thank you ' Mia went further to ask for a favor ' Please, I would really like to join you. Can you notify each time you want to study? You can call my line too' Val was also glad to help out ' Yeah, it's not a big deal anyways ' ' Thanks. Seems like we're being friends slowly ' Mia said and they both laughed while at their various homes. ' So, tell me, I'm the only child of my parents, what about you? ' Mia asked ' Oh! it's the same here. I'm the only child as well. but no dad anymore ' He replied but that made Mia wonder why he's not ready to associate with kids of wealthy families that insult his family.
