Hanging out with Javian was different from Kevin's. If it was Kevin with us, we would be chattering about one thing or the other. The car ride would be filled with laughter instead of silence. But Kevin was not here, Javian was.
The whole situation with Javian was weird. He utilized his employees and never made attempts to do their jobs for them. Yet, here he was, driving Kate home. Something his driver could have done. The driver resided in the employee's house so he would be accessible at all times. Not to mention the fact, Javian brought me with him. He could have driven Kate home by himself. If there was anything he needed to say to me, he could have done it in the house. It had never been a problem before. This meant he wanted me out of the manor. The question was why?
