The day went smoother than I expected. It started with glares and awkwardness but with each passing moment, it changed to comfort. Though Javian refused to acknowledge Kevin and Don, he never made a scene. I, on the other hand, dragged every one of the men in my conversations. They had no choice but to communicate. It was still a little stiff but better than before.
Don's brilliant idea for a day with me was to give me a tour of Buckhead, Atlanta. He introduced me to all the colleagues at his law firm. They had plenty to say about him. All good things, of course. Most ranted about Don's cases and the fact he was yet to lose a case and acquire a rival. Pretty impressive if anyone asked me.
