Dinner ended and we went our separate ways. Kevin and Javian were still not back to the way they should be. I spent the night at Javian's apartment while Kevin went to Don's place. There was no awkwardness around them anymore, but a slight tension was still present.
"What time are we leaving?" I asked Javian, relaxing around the island beside him with my bowl of cereal.
Since we were leaving shortly, I didn't want him to buy up tons of groceries like the last time. I woke up before him and went to get cereal and milk for breakfast.
