Episode 7 : celebration

*** Mr Golden and his wife has along conversation that night, because of their son's present condition, and where wondering on what the doctor had to tell them that he could not say it over phone ***

Mr Golden : let's sleep honey, it's already too late, you know we have to wake up early for our daily businesses.

Mrs Golden : how will I sleep ? knowing that my son is in the hospital.

Mr Golden : I know Jack will be sleeping peacefully by now, so let's sleep so that we will be able to face anything tomorrow, you won't like Jack to feel, you're getting sick because of him when he sees your face out of lack of sleep, you know the doctor said he does not need anything that will make him sad, so that he can have a speedy recovery.

*** Mr Golden and his wife was able to sleep that night, but little did they know that their son has being healed ***

*** the next day ***

Mr Golden : how is Jack doing? you called us last night that you have something important to tell us.

Doctor : Jack is doing fine, in fact what am about to tell you is going to surprise you, I didn't also expect it. *** takes them to Jack's room ***

Jack : *** Jack still sleeping with the squirrel beside his head, when the doctor comes inside with Jack's parents ***

Mr Golden : how did the squirrel get here ?

Doctor : oh! am sorry I've not been to his room this morning, I never there was a rat in the building.

Mrs Golden : actually that's my son's pet, but we can't imagine how it got to know about this place, because according to what we remembered last, since Jacks accident we have not seen it anywhere around the house.

Doctor : that's strange, but I've something wonderful to show you.

Mr Golden : what's it ?

Doctor : *** goes near Jacks bed and taps him to get up *** morning Jack your parents are here.

Jack : Good morning dad, Good morning Mom.

Mrs Golden : how was your night ?

Jack : it was beautiful.

Doctor : why don't you show your parents the miracle.

Mr Golden : what miracle ?

Jack : *** Jack stands up on his feet ***

Mrs Golden : impossible, we saw the x-ray done on your leg, it was completely broken, and how come there are no more wound or bruises on your body ?

Jack : it's a miracle mom.

Mrs Golden : we must celebrate this in a big way, but doctor how did it happen ?

Doctor : I myself I can't explain, I've been a doctor, for the past twenty one years (21 years), I have never seen a miracle like this.

Mr Golden : please doctor, when will he be discharged, cause we need to celebrate this miracle in a big way.

Doctor : after a few checks have been done on his body, we will discharge him, just sit down outside, we will be done in less than twenty minutes.

*** the doctor did some checkup on Jack, and found nothing wrong with him, so Jack was discharged immediately and he left with his squirrel on his shoulders, that day Mr Golden and his wife didn't go to work, but planned a great celebration, inviting the neighbors who knew about the accident, and they planned a way to prank his daughters that went to school, when they came back from school ***
