*** while in Mr Golden's house, they were discussing about the squirrel ***
Mr Golden : i wanted to ask Jack if he had see the squirrel.
Mrs Golden : thank God you did not ask, you might have made him a little bit sad about losing his squirrel.
Mr Golden : I thought about, but am scared, because I know now that that squirrel is not an ordinary one, fro the first day we saw it, it's behavior, Jack talking to himself, the grape tree, the accident, I feel it might be the effect of that squirrel.
Mrs Golden : I don't believe in such things, it's gone, and what I believe concerning the tree, maybe someone is playing a prank on us.
Mr Golden : what about the drawing ?
Mrs Golden : Maybe he drew with the last materials he had.
Mr Golden : but there is no sign of drawing materials in his room, and what was used in the drawing, is what we call charcoal pencil, which I know Jack does not have.
Mrs Golden : look honey, maybe he had somewhere he keeps his things that you don't know.
Mr Golden : what about the accident ?
Mrs Golden : I think it's fated to happen.
Mr Golden : what sort of fate is that honey ?
Mrs Golden : what's up with you, you are supposed to be calming me down, and here you are trying to make me angry.
Mr Golden : it's not like that, am just worried, and I don't know the cause of all this, I have heard stories, of people who come in contact with spirits that bring bad luck, and am scared if that squirrel is linked to it.
Mrs Golden : come to think of it, the grape and the drawing is not bad luck, we don't know why the accident happened, but I think we should first focus on Jack's recovery.
*** as they were talking about Jack, a call came from Jack's doctor in the hospital ***
Doctor : hello this is Tom, Jack's doctor am I talking to Mr Golden ?
