Episode 5 : the miracle

*** Mr Golden after seeing the drawing in Jack's room, decides to check around his house if he will find the squirrel, he finds out that someone planted some fruits in his garden, and decides to ask his children if anyone had planted anything there ***

Mr Golden : Ella, I know this is not the right time, but i will like to know you or Juliet planted anything in the garden, cause I notice somethings in Jack's room and now someone planted something in my garden, but now the problem is that it looks like it grew over night.

Mrs Golden : honey it's no time for that now, what we have to do now is to pray that Jack gets better.

Mr Golden : look honey, I know all you are concerned about is that your son gets well, but why don't you just follow me and check this thing out, cause since when Jack got that squirrel, different things has been happening, imagine I saw the squirrel running into the ambulance, and I cannot find it at home here, there is a squirrel drawing in Jacks room, but the last time I checked yesterday night Jack did not have complete drawing materials, because I was in his room last night, when he was talking to himself, is it not this materials that led him to this accident, and if he had drawn anything I will be the first person he would show this morning. Now there is a grape tree in my garden, which i just promised Jack to plant grape yesterday.

Juliet : a grape tree in the garden ?

Mr Golden : you guys just follow me and check out what am saying, you know I can't joke with something like that.

*** they follow him outside and were surprised by what they saw ***

Juliet : is it possible for the tree to have being transported to this place ?

Mr Golden : No way, except the person did something out of the ordinary.

Mrs Golden : where did you say you got the squirrel ?

Mr Golden : on our catch.

Mrs Golden : I think we should prepare to visit Jack this evening.

*** meanwhile, the squirrel surprisingly found it's way to Jack's ward In the hospital, he was carrying a small bag, when he saw that Jack was unconscious, he put his hands into the bag, and when he brought out his hands it was colored in blue substance, he rubbed his hands against each other, and went closer to Jacks nose ?, placing it near his nose, and Jack woke up and sneezed three times, at that moment a nurse was passing by, on hearing the sound of the boy sneezing she rushed inside to check up on Jack, but before she could enter into the ward, the squirrel had notice her movement and hidden himself under the bed, but luckily Jack had already sighted him before he his himself. ***

Nurse : Thank God you're up, how are you feeling.

Jack : *** Jack keeps silence throughout her talk ***

Nurse : I know you're feeling a lot of pain, but I promise you it will soon go off, let me go and call the doctor to check up on you.

*** the nurse goes out of the ward to call the doctor, while Jack calls the squirrel ***

Jack : you can come out now. *** the squirrel comes out from under the bed *** . you came for me, did any one bring you ?

squirrel : *** nods his head to say no ***

Jack : wow, are you trying to say you came here by your self ?

squirrel : *** nods his head to say yes ***

Jack : that's impossible, how did you come here ? I remember leaving you at how did you find me ? *** Jack is looks very surprised, before the doctor steps inside ***

Doctor : hey boy, you're awake, how are you feeling ? are you feeling weak ? or are you having headache or pain ?

Jack : please I want to see my family.

Doctor : don't worry they will be here soon, you just need to rest and we would get you something to eat. *** as the doctor was going out if the ward after checking Jack, Jack's family were at the door wanting to enter ***

Doctor : oh you all are here, he has been requesting to see his family.

Mrs Golden : how is he ?

Doctor : luckily the accident did not affect his brain, you can see him, but please don't let him feel bad because of this accident, you have yo cheer him up, because the more his happy the faster he recovers.

Mr Golden : Thanks doctor

*** the doctor leaves, and they enter ***

Jack : Mum and Dad, you are here.

Mrs Golden : how are you feeling ?

Jack : just a little pain.

Mr Golden : look what we brought for you.

Jack : what's that ?

Mr Golden : potato porridge with fried egg. That's what you wanted to eat today.

Jack : Thanks Dad, Thanks mum.

Ella : Jack, i know you going to get better soon cause you have not given the private jet you promised me.

*** everyone chuckles ***

Jack : Juliet, are you not going to say anything, will just stand there like the statue in Paris ?

Juliet : actually the statue in Paris is raising up her hand, and as you can see my hands are in my sweater.

Mrs Golden : you guys never change.

Ella : she has been crying for you since, that's why she could not talk.

Juliet : Did I cry ?

Ella : well I have the video of you crying like a baby.

*** everyone chuckles, they stay and cheer up Jack and eat with him. they left him in the night after eating with him. then the squirrel came out. ***

Jack : so you have here all this time ? why did you not come out ?

*** the squirrel deep his into his bag, brought it out and rubbed it against each other, and pressed it on Jack's leg. ***

Jack : what are you doing ?

*** as he was questioning the squirrel, he began to feel some pains for some seconds, but after the pains had subside, he began to feel his legs, he loosed the bandages, and try to walk on the floor, he came down from the hospital bed and take some few steps before running around the room in excitement ***

Jack : I can walk again, I has lost hope using just few minutes ago, what did you do ?

*** as he was about to yell out of joy, the squirrel spoke ***
