"Miss, Miss Michell and Mr. Mansada is our esteemed guests. You shouldn't cause a scene,"
The sales lady interjected before Olivia could respond, shifting the blame onto her. Seeing her reaction, Michell's face lit up with a smug smile, catching a provocative glance at Olivia and then extended her hand. "Hand me that tie,and make sure not to let just any riffraff into the store, it lowers the brand's prestige."
In stark contrast, Michell looked absolutely stunning in her designer gown, with each accessory thoughtfully selected to complement her outfit. This was quite different from Olivia's more understated dress.
The sales lady's eyes flicked over the two women and made a quick decision. She eagerly picked up the tie and she handed it to Michell, completely ignoring Olivia, her first customer.
"Miss Michell, this tie must be for Mr. Mansada right? It perfectly matches his sophisticated style!"
"Yes, you have a good eye. But it seems someone else had their eye on this tie before me..." Michell smiled and deliberately glanced at Olivia her gaze lingered on her for a moment before she sneered, "Even though she wanted the tie, she couldn't afford to buy it, because this store sells expensive, and branded items."
"Babe, Olivia is our college classmate after all. Why don't we buy her a tie? She looks so shabby, I can't bear it." Mansada interfered the conversation of the two ladies.
"Of course Babe! you are so kind." Michell said and laughed.
Olivia feel like she was about to throw up. Most of the people who came to the City Mall were either rich or influential, and their argument quickly drew the attention of other customers, and some took a record through cam video on the scene.
Soon, two women who knew Michell approached. "Miss Michell, what's going on here?"
"Oh, it's nothing," Michell replied with a dismissive wave. "I just ran into an old classmate I haven't seen in a while. She seems to be struggling, so I thought I'd help her out a bit."
The two women share a casual smile at Olivia before they walk away, seemingly oblivious to the real situation unfolding in the area.
Olivia crossed her arms and watched Michell self-directed performance with a cold gaze. She couldn't help but wonder how Tristan Emerson would feel if he heard someone saying that his wife, the esteemed Mrs. Emerson was living in poverty. The thought made her chuckle softly.
"What are you laughing at?!" Michell snapped, instantly enraged by Olivia's expression.
"I was just thinking," Olivia said, her voice dripping with innocence.
"How does Miss Michell manage to juggle both Mr. Mansada brothers at the same time? You wouldn't happen to be using some sort of spell, would you?"
Olivia clapped her hands together, her smile is classy as what others saw. But she wasn't making it up. Michell was indeed dating both of the Mansada brothers simultaneously. In her past life, when this scandal broke out, it became a long-running joke in their social circle. Even the reclusive socialites knew all the juicy details.
Just as Olivia finished speaking, Michell's face turned red with anger.
"Stop spouting nonsense! Do you really think anyone will believe you?" Michell nervously says these words and glanced at Mansada beside her, only to meet his suspicious gaze.
"Mansada don't listen to her lies. How could I ever do such a thing? She's trying to slander me and drive a wedge between us!" Michell clung tightly to Mansada's arm, desperately trying to explain. She wished she could tear Olivia's mouth apart right then and there. She was baffled by how Olivia Hermstein had uncovered her secret actions, which she had believed were safely tucked away. As the drama unfolded, she couldn't help but feel a rush of satisfaction and a sense of victory.
What they didn't know was that, at the same time, Brandon had to transform as Tristan Emerson, inside the "change room" of the men's area.
"Hello.. not so bad" Brandon has the same aura and speech, the same as the original Tristan Emerson, as he talked to the mirror himself. No one knew this! Then he goes outside to face them, as the "fake Tristan Emerson"
Happening in a while in the selling area. Olivia looked at Mansada, whose face had turned a shade of green, and said, "Slander? Ha! If you think there's something to be driven between you two, doesn't that prove I might be right?"
For Michell, who was already pushed to the edge, she believed that Olivia Hermstein was simply jealous of her better life.
"What? Are you just jealous that I have a boyfriend everyone envies? This kind of petty provocation is really beneath you."
Michell looked at Olivia with a provocative gaze and deliberately clung to Mansada's arm, saying sweetly, "Don't believe this woman. She just can't stand to see us in love!" Her soft and delicate act immediately dispelled half of Mansada's doubts, and he affectionately replied, "Baby, I believe you!"
However, Olivia couldn't stand their ignorance and lies. She thought this conversation was going nowhere, so she decided to distance herself from them, but just as she was about to turn around, she saw another items, it was a couple white shoes that is good for running. "Tristan likes to jog every saturday morning, I must join him" Thinking these words makes Olivia inspire.
"Could you show me this one?"
Since the tie was also chosen by those disgusting people, she decided to pick another item. She pointed to another shelf, hoping that the sales lady would help her get it.
The sales lady looked over and said, "Miss, that is one of the new release items in our store. Are you sure you want it?" her tone was dripping with disdain, and Olivia couldn't help but feel a surge of anger.
"What's this? Can't afford it but I'm not allowed to look either?" Olivia demanded angrily, her patience completely worn out by the sarcastic sales lady.
Michell who had been watching the scene unfold, seized the opportunity to mock her. "Olivia my dear classmate, if you can't afford it, just don't look. Simple as that?!"
Sensing an opportunity to further humiliate Olivia, Michell's excitement grew. And even the sales lady stifled a laugh and bent slightly at her waist. "Exactly! Miss, you should spend within your means."
"So, what you're saying is, this store doesn't intend to sell to people like me?" Olivia retorted, her anger turning into a bitter smile.
"Miss, we do not have some discounted old stock of shoes that might be more suitable for you," the sales lady said impatiently, pointing to a pile of discarded fabric scraps in the corner of the store.
Olivia followed her gaze and nearly burst out laughing, but it was more out of frustration than anything else. If her husband, Tristan Emerson, had any idea that she was only considered worthy of those old school shoes, he would have probably just thrown them in the trash.
"Old classmate, these items seem perfect for you. If you still can't afford them, I'll cover the cost. After all, we are classmates. Mansada and I would be happy to help out," Michell said, her voice dripping with insincerity, her face was filled with amusement, her makeup nearly smudging from laughter.
"Whatever you say, babe. We've got the money!" Mansada responded. He felt even more proud, and put his hands on her hips.
"Olivia don't be shy. Just pick whatever you want. Even if you take everything in the store, we can afford it." Mansada added to say.
"Really?" Olivia asked with a mocking smile. If only Mansada knew that his girlfriend Michell was flaunting her fake nose under the bright store lights, making it almost look transparent.
"Of course! I'm loaded! I can pay for it!" Mansada's vanity flared up in an instant, and he turned into someone who couldn't stop bragging.
