KNOWING KOURTNEY

Kourtney turned around looking for Bernard with her eyes , to see where he is in the party, when Abel sitted her, he gave his friends signal that a new girl is in their midst.. and one of his friends who is known for giving girls drinks mixed with drugs , walked up to her with two glasses filled with different drinks , offering her the drinks to choose from , which she took one of the drink and took a sip from the drink. Mark hurriedly got to where Kourtney is and asked her to drop the drink and stop talking to those guys as they are only specialized in drugging girls through drinks , and He gave Abel's friend a blow on his jaw to stay away from his sister , Abel asked his friend to walk away and allow Mark have his way.. not too long Kourtney passed away as she got affected by the drink she took from Abel's friend.. immediately Mark caught her from falling to the ground and took her to car , as he drove home.. Kourtney was speaking words that are not in order because she was under the influence of alcohol .

Kourtney woke up the next day on her bed, surprised at how she got home and worried over how her mom and new step Father could feel , not sure if they saw her drunk , she came out of her room to get something in the kitchen , and to enquire from the cook if anyone saw her yesterday, or even if the cook saw her.. but on getting to the kitchen she met her mother, the cooks , Mark and her step Father all getting ready for breakfast , as soon as her mother saw her she complimented her on getting a friend so quickly in just few days of arriving the new city.. as she claims that Kourtney sent her a text message that she is hanging out with Diana, who is close to Mark and is known in the household , but Kourtney is surprised but still keeps her face in agreement to what Grace her mum is saying.. she checked her phone and saw the message which was sent to her mother, which she knows she didn't type any message then she looked towards the direction of Mark and he was sipping his tea and had that undertone smile which indicated he was the one who sent that message to Grace.. and she smiled and gave him a thank you gesture.

Kourtney decided to go round the neighborhood , to get familiar with the environment and Diana is the perfect buddy to take her round and tell the stories behind everyone and everything. So they decided to go to the beach that day , on getting to the beach Mark and his friends got to the beach also and mark's friend gave a silly remark on Kourtney , but Mark stood up for her and warned his friends to not bully her, as she's now a member of the family and there is nothing that can change that.. his girlfriend got irritated by that speech as she feels Mark defending Kourtney isn't proper because she feels threatened by Kourtney's beauty. Kourtney and Diana picked their spot and gossiped about everything and while Diana was talking she let out another party hangout to Kourtney which was supposed to be a secret, before she could realize it, she had let the cat out of the bag… Kourtney smiled and told Diana she's going to be there as there is nothing she would be doing at home, as her mother Grace barely has her time as she is busy with her new found love of her life Derek.. and as such wouldn't want to be a stumbling block to their growing romance.. with a smile on her face and puppy look, Diana agreed to give her a pass to the party and also to come pick her from the house to the party as Mark wouldn't agree to get her and as his parties and gambling are all a secret to his Dad, Derek, it is not mentioned in the house.

The party began and this time around there's going to be a car race , and Mark is also racing , while Mark got into his car ready for the race as his opponent, he saw Kourtney walking in with Diana, he got distracted a bit and started his car to join in the race as he kept turning he was missing his paths and giving his opponent an upper hand as he was still looking at Kourtney at every turn he takes and while Kourtney was there at the party looking out at the car race competition and cheering her step brother Mark, his girlfriend was with her group of friends watching how Mark is gazing at Kourtney and being distracted, Mark's girlfriend developed more hatred for Kourtney as she fears Mark might or is already falling for Kourtney , but Kourtney isn't aware of her reason for the hate and the bullying. While Kourtney was standing with Diana her friend she got a picture message on her phone of her boyfriend and her old best friend from her previous city, she got so mad that she was looking out for any guy she could kiss and take a picture to send it to her boyfriend Jake and her best friend from the previous city, she grabbed a cup of drink from someone else and gulped it, Mark saw this and didn't understand what was going on with Kourtney, he came out to where Kourtney was standing as they had gone on break from the race and as she had distance herself from where Diana was standing with her when Diana's boyfriend came to have a private discussion with Diana which was about why would Diana bring Kourtney to the party as her presence is making Mark lose concentration and making them loose to the other group.

Mark approached Kourtney and asking her what the matter was , and why is she trying so hard to makehim loose the game, knowing fully well he doesn't like her talking to any guy or every kind of guy so as not to get into wrong hands , as she does not know everyone as regards to who to talk to and who not to talk to.. he startled.. and Kourtney showed him the picture that was sent to her, and told him she's trying to get a kiss from a guy and send a picture back to them… Mark said then I'll get you the picture. He leaned forward towards Kourtney and parted her laps as she gave him a chance , he kissed her passionately and used her phone to get the picture of them kissing and he stopped and went to meet his girlfriend to make out with his girlfriend.. Kourtney took her phone gazed at the picture and reflected on the memory and snapped out of the memory quickly and sent the picture to her boyfriend Jake with the inscription "it didn't take her thirty minutes to get her a man".

Kourtney feeling fulfilled with what she has done, got into Mark's car, sat on the driver's seat not knowing the break is over she turned on the ignition of the car and the opponent drove to the line and said to her from his car "where's Mark? Are you the one racing now in his place? Well , because you're a woman I'll let you drive off four minutes ahead of me " Kourtney shocked at what she's done, she wanted to get out of the car to call Mark to come take over his race game, Abel who was the opponent told her if she gets down from the car , it means Mark has lost the race game to them. Kourtney got angry and braved up to race in place of her step brother Mark as he isn't there… so she got out her lip gloss and rubbed it on her lips and Abel asked her what she was doing? And why isn't she taking the opportunity of going ahead as he had given her four minutes ahead of him even after the gunshot , she turned around and said " I want you to remember it was a woman who beat you to your game", and that got Abel furious he started the race with the mindset to hurt and to win Kourtney.. but Kourtney was equal to the task as she knows how to drive and also race very well as that was the only thing her father taught her before he was taken to prison. Kourtney drove so good and people were cheering thinking that was Mark driving only to find out that Mark was also in the crowd looking all confused and scared for Kourtney's life.. but as she progressed in the race she proved to everyone and even to Abel that she's good at car racing and even better than Mark..
