Mikayla POV “I was drunk, and Rafe took me home and looked after me.” I snapped as I climbed out of Rafe’s truck, wobbly and furious. Tripp stood on the path that led to the house, blocking my way; his nostrils flared, and his neck looked strained. He hadn’t bothered with me for the last six years, and I did perfectly fine without him. But now he thought he could play big brother. Where was he when I truly needed him?
