Mikayla POV I move across the room, my shoes clicking on the hardwood floor. The lights are dim and warm, creating a cozy feel. I lean against the island, trying to steady my racing thoughts, but my body betrays me. Memories of what happened right here on this very spot flood my mind, heat curling low in my stomach, tingling along my skin. Only Rafe has ever made me feel like this.
