Rafe POV “Rafe, wait.” Tripp’s voice boomed behind me. My hand froze on the black lever of the front door, the muscles in my back coiling tight. His footsteps pounded closer, heavy with the promise of a fight. “What the fùck was that?” he snarled. “She dropped a bowl.
