“I was going to get a ride home with her, but that went horribly wrong. So here I am.” I stated.
“What happened Sarah, you can talk to me” he stated”
I gave him a small smile, then I told him everything that had just happened.
“Wow”
“Wow indeed”
“Ben as in Ben Karwowski?” I asked
“Yea, she's like on and off again with him. Why does it matter?”
“Because that’s my best friend”...
“Why would you be friends with such a horrible guy?” she asked.
“Well we were best friends, til he started being a d**k. Then I wasn’t really into that whole douchebag jock thing.” I said
“Maybe one day he’ll come around and we can be friends again.” I said with a sad smile.
“Yea he’s a d**k alright, I tried to tell Gina, but she wasn’t having it.”
“I can’t believe we're not friends anymore.” I stated
I could feel a tear come down my cheek. Miles cupped my cheek and wiped it away. Then he looked me in my eyes and kissed me.
“It’s ok, you have me now.” he said proudly
“Maybe one day she’ll come around”
“I doubt it, we both said some horrible things to each other. I meant everything that I said,and I’m sure that she did as well.” I said
“Well now you’re not getting rid of me, I’m here to stay” He laughed.
I couldn’t help but smile, through all that just happened. I think he was trying to cheer me up. That’s really nice of him.
“I saw the note that you left me, were you even going to say goodbye?” he asked.
“I’m not good at this, you were just my first everything. I thought it would have been awkward.” I said.
“You could never make anything awkward.” he said while running his hand down my cheek.
“So will you take me home?” I asked.
“Of course, let me just put my clothes on.”
“Do you have anywhere to be today?” he asked.
“Nope just home, I do have practice tomorrow though.” I stated.
“What about you?” I asked.
“I don’t have anything written down at the moment, but that can always change” he said while winking at me.
I couldn’t help but blush, he looks so good right now. He’s got that messy bedhead look, with a childlike smile on his face. Any girl would swoon over, hell I definitely did last night.
“Ok, are you ready?” he asked.
“Yep, get me out of here.” I stated.
We were walking to his truck, but I couldn’t help but look back at Gina’s room. Maybe I did go too far, her and Ben’s relationship is always a touchy subject for her. But, she wasn’t being a good friend and she definitely said some hurtful things as well. Maybe we could be friends again, one day. We got to his truck and he opened the passenger door for me.
“What a gentleman.” I said.
“I try, I try” he said.

I just wanted to make her smile, because I could see that she was really upset about what had just happened, I would be too.
“Do you want to get some breakfast?” I asked
She looked at me and smile “sure sounds good”
As I was driving I saw this diner, I looked at her for assurance and she nodded at me. So, I turned into the parking lot. Get out of my car and open the door for her.
We walked into the diner and sat at the nearest booth and sat down. The waitress walks up to us and ask “what we’d like”
I wasn’t sure what I wanted yet and I didn’t think that she knew either so I told her
“ Give us five minutes please,” I said.
“Ok darling” she responded.
“So how did you know that they were next door to us” I asked.
“Who?” she asked
“Your best friend.” I said
“So when I got to your room I heard what sounded like s*x, and while I was listening I heard my friends voice.” she said.
“Wow. Wait so you were listening to her have s*x?” I laughed.
“Not really, but she was being really loud” she said while blushing.
“As I recall you were pretty loud last night as well” I smirked. Her face had turned a bright red.
“Why did you choose me?” I asked
“I thought you were hot, so I took a chance. I think I wanted to prove to Gina in my own way that I could have fun.” she stated.
“Did you have fun?” I asked with a smirk.
“I did, I really did.”
“Do you maybe want to go out with me sometimes?” I asked
Before she could answer the waitress came back.
“Are you guys ready?” she asked
I looked at Sarah and she nodded.
“I would like waffles with eggs and bacon with an orange juice” she stated.
“And for you sweetheart?”
“I’ll have the same”
“Ok I’ll have that right out.” she said
“Thank you”
I looked back at Sarah, as I waited for an answer.
“I don’t know Miles, I still haven’t wrapped my head around the fact that I just lost my virginity”
“I understand, but I really want to get to know you. I feel like we would have a great time” I said
“OK” she said
“Really?”
“Yes really, it couldn’t hurt”
