This was a fantastic space. My eyes amazed because I'd never seen a room like this before, and I never will again. We are not as lucky as they are, and my mother is critically ill and urgently requires treatment. I start this absurd work and end up here like a prisoner. It was spectacular last night. Every thrust from him leaves me feeling whole and satisfied. It was toying with me again, so I shook my head and pressed my face against the pillow. I stepped up to answer the door when I heard a knock. I was quite aback to see Zach. Aiden's introverted and unapproachable pal. The deadliest, but Aiden is even deadlier because he can kill innocent ladies. "Uh, what do I owe you with this displeasure?" He entered without my permission, which is kinda insulting on my behalf. "Do you realize this is a girl's room?" "So?" he asked, looking around. "How disrespectful! Didn't your school teach you that, or did you previously skip school?" I said. "In college, I was valedictorian with twelve medals, and in high school, I was summa c*m laude. So, are you asking me questions or just making fun of me?" His response made me a little shy because he was considerably smarter than me, especially since I had just graduated from high school with two medals. That was dreadful! "Why are you here, Zach?" I sighed before changing the subject. "I was told I needed to take you out." "Out? Like a date?" "In your dreams." "Just kidding, you're way too serious." "Aiden asked me to drive you to his mall and let you choose anything to add to your wardrobe. He's looking for a well-dressed woman, not a cheap one, and you're the cheap one." Ouch. He's far too forthright. "I'm not a cheap lady, Zach. Besides, I don't need to improve whatever clothing you're referring to." "Humor." "Pardon?" "That's what you're lacking. Humor. You'd better get moving before time runs out; you still have to do your job and become his cherished surrogate. Please excuse my interruption. Change your clothing since we're leaving in one hour once I finish dealing with anything." "Wait!" I put a halt to him. "What now?" "I have nothing to wear." "Just pick something from the cabinet," he groaned. "Oh, okay." He's about to walk away when I stop him once again, "What?!" "I'm hungry. Can I eat something before we leave?" "Fine." I instantly pursue him as he walks away. All of the gratifying things we did last night made me tremendously hungry, like there was a dragon inside me waiting to be fed. We enter the living area, and I'm struck by how distinctive this furniture is. Everything is pricey! Oh my goodness! If I damage one of those vases, he'll undoubtedly demand that I pay for it. Which is difficult because my salary as his surrogate is insufficient to afford it. As a result, I must take care not to shatter any of the vases. Especially considering I won't be able to afford it. "Why are you still standing?" When he asked, I turned and widened my eyes to see Aiden sitting in the front chair. He was staring at me like I was a crazy woman breaking into his house. "S-sorry..." I gasped, nervously. "Sit." I sat down right away, not realizing it was him because I believed it was Zach. When the maids begin to serve the food, the lovely aroma begins to linger in my nostrils, and my stomach begins to growl. I promptly stabbed the sausage with my fork and devoured it without hesitation. After that, I take a loaf of bread and spread it with butter. In addition, I pile a bunch of bacon on my plate and devour it all. I'm so hungry that I can finish this platter! "Slow down," he grumbled, almost making me spit up my food. I had forgotten they were still here. My bad. "Please forgive my behavior, but I am extremely hungry," I replied as I gobbled my dinner, "I hadn't eaten in a day, and seeing this food made my stomach grumble." "There's no need to apologize, Cassie. We forgot to feed you, which is why you're digging in like a ravenous tiger," he said gently. Aiden kept eating as Zach sat on his right side, and neither of them was interested in me. I winced as I lost my appetite and wished I could shut myself away till this nightmare ended. How can I eat without remembering my mother? She is clearly concerned since I did not return home, which could aggravate her sickness. I'm not on her side to look after her. "Before I forget, Cassie. I instruct my men to find your mother, and they find her humble home," Aiden grumbled. "How is she?" I asked, casting a peek at him. "As I stated in our contract, I will give her with anything she requires. Medicine, hospital costs, and supplements were all required." "Did she go looking for me?" "It's up to me whether or not I inform her about this. I'd rather not since this is too sensitive to dispose of in that manner, therefore you should keep your mouth shut till the contract expires." "I will." "Zach will also accompany you to the mall and assist you in selecting new clothing." My treat, you can choose whatever you want." "Was it really necessary?" "I beg your pardon?" "Do I really need to change my clothes?" "Yes. My reputation is more important than your life because I am a multi-billionaire." I winced because he is too direct, like his friend, "Fine." I keep eating, but it doesn't take him long to speak up again and hand me a card. It is not a typical credit card. Demonstrate his wealth. "Utilize it whenever you need something. I trust you with my card and pledge to provide you with anything you require. That card has no restrictions." "Aiden Williams..." I stare at him and mumble the name inscribed on the card. "Splurge yourself with jewelry and a haircut. In this instance, you will have the life you never had."
