For the next twenty-four hours, the cabin shielded Aurora and Charles from the intense storm that raged outside. The rain was so heavy that it compared with the wind sounded like the cabin was trapt in the center of a tornando. The sky outside was dark causing everything inside the cabin to be even darker. The cold weather kept them close together and in front of the fireplace that lit up the front room. In their own bubble hidden from the world, Aurora and Charles spent their time together, talking about Aurora's plans for her future. How she wants to become a teacher, the college she wants to attend. Her nervousness about her transition.
