Aurora didn't let Charles know she had heard him, she could tell that saying the word love scared him. Instead, she finished her omelet in silence, still panicking on the inside about the little time she had to prepare for all that was to come in the next twentyfour hours. After Aurora had finished her breakfast, she and Charles enjoyed some coffee together before heading out, enjoying their final moments alone in their bubble together before they had to return back to reality.
The boat ride back to shore was silent and long. Charles paddled as Aurora watched him. She could tell he was wondering what she was thinking, but Aurora didn't give in to the looks, if he knew all the dirty things she was thinking when looking at him the boat would never make it to shore.
