Quinten woke up the next morning worrying about Crystal. Quinten roused Brody, Lucas, and Michael. As Brody, Lucas, and Michael started getting ready Quinten went to locate his father, Nicholas. Quinten found his father in the kitchen cooking breakfast which, was a complete shock for me. Nicholas had not cooked breakfast since he was five years old. Nicholas smiled and said, “Thinking about the last time I made breakfast for you. I forgot how good it feels to do things for myself.”
“I was thinking about the last time you made breakfast for me. You had burnt my toast and singed the eggs.” Quinten says with a fond smile.
