St. Bernard High was busy as a beehive the next morning, and there were two reasons for the bustle.
The first reason was that in three days, Kaos was having a party at his house for his birthday. Rumor had it that his parents were celebrating their wedding anniversary and would be away traveling for the occasion. This, of course, meant that the entire house was left for Kaos to take over—naturally, this meant that everybody wanted to take advantage of an authority-free house.
The second reason was that Mr. Loch was giving the class a hefty paper to be due in three days—the day of the birthday party. Kire welcomed this as a punishment to Kaos, but Kaos seemed to be unphased.
