Kaos closed his eyes. “He didn’t call me,” he said, “but we needed the fight.” “You i***t!” Kire roared angrily. Kaos slapped Kire’s hands off his collar and pushed Kire so hard that he fell on his butt. Kire roared and pushed himself up before landing a hard punch on Kaos’ face. The latter staggered backward and tripped over an exposed root. The students noticed the altercation between Kire and Kaos and shifted their attention from Stephan and Trace. Kire saw Kaos put a hand to his cheek. “You little devil.” Trace ran over just in time to stop Kaos from throwing a punch at Kire. “What happened between you two?” Trace snapped. “He lied, Trace. He lied about Stephan challenging you; this fight was called by neither of you. It was all that lying snake’s plan.” A loud murmur broke amon
