WHAT HAPPENED

***PENELOPE’S P.O.V***

I have to know who it is and what it is that I don’t know. I have to know that at any cost, I just have to do that. Who are they that’s going to him or his family? I just have no idea about that.

I lay down on my bed, but constantly thinking about how come I would know about it. The truth. I have to know about it some of the way. I just have no other option other than this. I took a deep breath and then fell asleep.

I woke up and then, getting ready for college, I made sure that I would just do that. It is it

I made my way to college but Myra didn’t come with me. Then I looked there. I just didn’t know where she was. I just reached there and then I saw Christine. Yes, she is the one who can do the stuff for me.

“Hi Christine,” I said, and then made my way to her

“Hi Penelope, how are you?” I smiled at her. Now I know what I have to do and how I have to do it and in what ways I have to do that.

“I am great. Someone is looking great today.”

“Seriously.” I nodded at her.

“Yes, definitely you are looking for the best corn. Let’s sit.” We both sat down in the cafe and were just having our coffee when I asked her.

“By the way, Christine, do you know who are all part of Devin’s family? I mean, I don’t know who is a part of his family. knew I just wanted to know about that.” I asked her in a sweet way and I knew that this was Christine she knew. She is just gonna tell it all to me.

At least she is not the one in denial that she doesn’t know me. At least she is like she knows me very well and that is great.

“Clara is my name. I knew after that accident but I am glad to see you. How is it?” She asked me. I smiled at her.

“Yes.” I hesitated for a bit and then said

I turned and then made my way to my house. I was frustrated. I was about to go to my room when I saw mom. “What happened Penelope, you came so early?”

“Penelope, tell me what it is, tell me.”

Mom got shocked as she heard it. Yes, I know that everyone wanted me not to know about it, but somehow I have known a lot of stuff. Now I want to know the whole truth.

She said, looking at me, she was just not happy to see me, “Because she needs your help and I know that only you can do that.”

“No I don’t want that, he will come here and you know that they are not allowed here.”

“No one is gonna come here. She is a human, she is not one of them.” Mom tries to convince her tried

“But how will I be able to help her and in what way can I do that? “She wants her memories to comeback. There is something that she wants to know.”

“I am not doing that Penelope, I don’t know your reason, but let me tell you mine for not doing that.” She said, looking at me. I didn’t even tell her my name. How did she know that?

“Because it’s not going to be a great idea and trust me on that, get that, you can. You, even worse, knowing something will not be the outcome. We want it to be,” she said. I looked at mom and I was not doing that at all.

“Please help me with that. I ask you. Please, I want this. Please, I know that living a life not knowing anything is bad and I don’t want that at all please.”

“Please you beg you, please do this spell.” I begged her. I kneeled down in front of her.

“Okay, I will do it. But there can be consequences.” I looked at my mother.

“Whatever it will be, I am ready for that.”

“Cool then.” She took me up the stairs into a room. She told me to be inside a circle. I went there, she started to do it all.

“Now lie down.” I lay down on the bed in front of me. She looked at me and then mom

“I love you mom.” I said," I don’t know what the consequences could be, but they will all be worth it and I know that.

“But what are the worst consequences?” Mom asked her. I knew that she wanted to do this and I didn’t want to know what that could be.

“She can die or never wake up stuck in that phase repeatedly for the rest of her life, it just depends.”

“We are not doing this.” Mom said as she got panicked. She was about to go into the circle but she just could not.

“What is it why I am not able to go inside?”

“You will not. It’s already started, Penelope. I can’t stop this.” She said. I looked at my mother.

“Mom, I am going to be fine. Nothing is gonna happen to me.” I said," I don’t know what it’s gonna be. I just can’t see my mom blaming herself for all this. It’s not her fault at all, not even a bit.

I myself don’t know what my fate is gonna be, but it’s gonna be worth it. I want the outcome to be correct and not something wrong.

“But you never said that she could lose her life. How come this can happen? Stop this. I don’t know how she is still in her senses.” Mom looked at me while crying.

“I can’t do that. Once a spell has been started, it can’t be stopped and I am not the strongest witch who can do that. I am sorry it was your call all along.”
