Alora My eyes slowly peel open— and I immediately regret the decision. Bright light assaults my vision in the most aggressive way possible, stabbing straight through my skull like a blade made of pure spite. I squeeze them shut again almost instantly, burrowing my face into the soft pillow and dragging the furs up over my head like they might shield me from the sun itself. I'm beyond tired this morning, and all I want to do is sleep the day away. A soft groan slips out of me as I wiggle deeper beneath the covers… and burrow straight into a massive wall of warmth.
