Pearl sat on a couch, browsing through her computer for a well-paid job. Her mother enters the room. "Pearl, we have visitors, and your dad wants you downstairs," her mother said. "Okay, Mother," Pearl replied, following her mom down the stairs. In the living room, a young man stared at Pearl excitedly but tried to conceal his excitement..... "Mr. Bruce, this is my daughter Pearl," her father said. "I'm sorry I can't introduce you to my other daughter, as she's not at home right now." Alison was chatting on the phone with her friend, laughing and mimicking someone..... " Do you have a boyfriend?"
